chifuyu

i wasn't happy, not until i met baji keisuke. 

he was a spark in my life, he shined and shined and guided me towards happiness.

staring at his own reflection, he embraced his surroundings and how many different views passed in a flash outside. he looked at his face, gloomy and tired. there were dark eyebags around his eyes, and his hair was messy. 

the train was moving fast, and he moved along with it, letting the train make him move however it wanted. he was too tired to even control his movements. 

as the train jolted to a stop, he glared at the station board for a second and stood up, remembering that it was the station he needed to go to. he wanted to visit baji's grave again. 

he was forced to move away a few years back, so it had been really difficult for him to visit the graveyard often. 

stepping out of the train station, he passed his old apartment where he and baji used to live, now rebuilt with riches. memories flooded him, and he could do nothing but reminiscence at the painful, vivid evocations. 

he saw a bunch of strays along the way; they were healthy and running around happily. 

he was tired to the bone, the fatigue drained him, but it wasn't even because of anything, only because he was thinking of baji the whole time. 

he reached the graveyard, and went towards baji's stone. sitting in front of it, he started crying. it was really hard for chifuyu; it was hard for everybody. 

chifuyu loved baji and wanted to grow old with him, but they won't be able to because they're torn apart. 

'how dare you leave me' 

chifuyu looked at the poor, lonely stone. tracing baji's name with his fingers, his fingers reached baji's photo. 

he remembered the time where he took that photo for him. 

'baji-san!' 

'yeah?' 

'why not take a photo here? it's a really beautiful place.' 

'no, photos aren't really my thing. i'll take one for you though.' 

'fine, but i'll help you take some too!'

he cried helplessly, bawling as he wiped his tears which endlessly fell along his face. 

the one person he loved was gone, the one person who gave him happiness was gone. chifuyu wasn't able to save him, and even though maybe even a decade passed, it still hurt him, so so much. 

many people passed chifuyu, concerned, but they couldn't do anything to help because chifuyu screamed at them, he was so hurt that he couldn't even bother speaking to anyone. 

he was helpless, because no one could save him apart from baji, and he was gone. gone forever. 

he missed baji so much, he was everything to him. he could go crazy at this point, all this pain will make him delusional; give him hallucinations. yet he could do nothing about it, because baji was gone.

[i found these in my drafts not long ago and im cringing but im just gonna publish these anyway! i'm going to try to be consistent from now on, unlike how i was before.
