*a few weeks later*

"I see,

Looking for yourself tonight."

(y/n) was looking out the window, sighing at the blue sky fading to dark. link was outside, training as he usually does.

"And I know,

Gonna sell your soul under the lights."

(y/n) couldn't help but to watch him for a little while. she smiled and climbed down the ladder. she walked outside, carrying a carrot for epona. (y/n) fed the carrot to the mare and stroked her silky mane. epona whinnied happily, catching link's attention. you looked over at link, smiling at him.

"And I hear,

The emptiness that echoes in your cries."

"link, you're going to catch a cold out here." (y/n) told him. "if i do, you're gonna have to look after me! hehe" link giggled, giving (y/n) a cute smile. (y/n) blushed a little and rolled her eyes. she smiled and opened the front door. "alright, i'll start making dinner, stay safe out there, link~!" (y/n) purred as she walked inside and closed the door.

"Someday,

I'll pray that you finally realize."

link sighed and blushed. "beautiful, as always~" he cooed, smiling to himself. he climbed up to the roof and looked up at the stars. "i fell for a girl in just a few days..." he said to himself. "i may have just met her, but i know she's the one..."

"You're beautiful,

That's all that I can say."

(y/n) blushed as she heard link outside the window from where she sat. 'that's not true, i'm not as good as he thinks... he's the beutiful one...' she thought, letting out a sigh.

"Unforgettable,

I'm caught in every way."

"(y-y/n)..?!" link stuttered, peeking into the window. "y-you didn't hear that, did you...?!" he choked out, his blush darkening. "i heard it all, i'm not as pretty as you say..." (y/n) sighed. "o-of course you are... i know you are..." he purred, giving (y/n) a shy smile. (y/n) blushed and looked away. "l-link..." she stuttered, looking back into his blue eyes.

"Don't ever let the mirror tell you lies,

Just look at your reflection through my eyes.

You're beautiful."

link smiled and touched (y/n)'s soft cheek with his gloved hand. "(y/n) ... i-i..." he stuttered. "...love you..." he choked out, pulling (y/n) into a soft, sweet kiss. (y/n)'s eyes widened, her heart racing. she then kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck. the two flinched as they heard midna giggle. "...well well well!" midna giggled, smirking a little. "hey lovebirds, dinner is burning, see you downstairs soon hopefully." midna said, floating downstairs.
