I sat glaring across the room as Luke and Rena Lovelis of 'Hey Violet' were chatting for what felt like hours. I felt the weight on the couch dip and turned to see Michael smirking at me. "You're cute when you're jealous," he teased. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not jealous," I scoffed unconvincingly. Michael chuckled.

"Yeah because glaring at someone while they talk to your boyfriend for practically an hour doesn't make you jealous Y/N," He said shaking his head.

"They have the entire tour to bond, I'm only here for two more weeks," I complained.

"Stop worrying. There's nothing to be jealous about. I mean, what does she have that you don't?" Michael shrugged. I stared at her and Luke laughing in the corner for a few more moments.

"Hair..." I mumbled getting an idea. Michael gave me a confused look.

"Uh, is this your way of telling me you're wearing a wig? Because I won't judge you, I'm running out of hair myself and-"

"No you idiot. I mean, I want you to help dye my hair," I announced grinning.

"Y/n don't you think that's a bit...drastic?" He said looking at me as if I was crazy. I rolled my eyes.

"I've always wanted do it. This is just...motivation!" I said throwing one last glance at the two lead singers chatting in the corner. Michael shrugged.

"Okay then you little rebel, what color do you want?" He asked with a sigh. I thought about it for a few seconds. Violet seemed too obvious of a statement, maybe another shade of purple? I looked around, trying to find some inspiration.

"Do you have any ideas?" I asked. Michael looked at me for a while with a thinking face. After naming some random colors for a few minutes he gave up.

"You know what? The only color left I can think of is lavender," he huffed.

"Perfect! Michael you're a genius," I smiled. Michael seemed quite proud of himself as we both got up and headed towards their stylists. After explaining how I wanted my hair, she got to work. We waited around for a while until it was finally done. After looking at myself in the mirror and admiring the new hair I turned around to show Michael. "How does it look?" I asked beaming. He broke out in a smile.

"You look great Y/N, I'm sure Luke will love it," Michael replied happily. We walked back to the boys and Hey Violet was already on stage. The boys gasped as they saw my hair.

"Y/N your hair!" Ashton said shocked. Luke immediately turned around. His jaw dropped. My once (your hair color) hair was now a light lavender.

"What did you do to my girlfriend Clifford?" Luke chuckled shaking his head at Michael. Michael put his hands up in defense.

"She wanted it!" He pouted. Calum came up closer and played with my hair for a few seconds. He shrugged.

"I like it," Calum said simply. I looked up at Luke.

"What about you Hemmings?" I asked, "Do you like it?" At this point, no matter how much I loved my hair, I would still be disappointed if Luke didn't like it. He smiled and walked over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist and looking down at me.

"No matter what you do babe, I'll always think you're beautiful," he whispered, pressing a quick kiss to my forehead. I blushed but thanked him with a small smile. "Now, is there a reason you all of a sudden wanted to surprise me with lavender hair?" He asked cocking his eyebrow knowingly. I averted my gaze to the floor. I heard Michael cough.

"Yeah Y/N why?" Michael challenged, smirking at me. I shot my head up and sent him a glare. He ignored it and continued to tease me. "Why didn't you dye it another color? Like violet. Do you have something against violet?" I was going to kill him for this. Luke chuckled softly before rolling his eyes at Michael.

"Alright Mike, leave her alone," Luke said kissing my temple. I stuck my tongue out at Michael and he returned it before walking away. The boys followed after him, probably sensing we wanted to be alone. "So you gonna tell me what's wrong?" Luke asked gently. I sighed.

"It's stupid," I muttered.

"If it made you dye your hair lavender, and isn't named Michael, then it's not stupid babe," he replied.

 "IgotjealousofyouandRenaandshehadcoolhairandyouseemedtoreallylikehersoIwantedtogetyourattentionwithcoolhairtoo," I rambled quickly.

"A bit slower?" He said shaking his head. I groaned.

"I got jealous of you and Rena because you'll be spending months on tour with her and I'll only be here for a few weeks. I wanted your attention back and since Rena has cool hair I thought you might notice me if I changed mine," I admitted sheepishly, returning my gaze to the floor. I heard him chuckle. He used his finger to gently tilt my chin up to face him. I stared into his wonderful blue eyes.

"Hey, you don't need to dye your hair to get my attention. Just talk to me next time okay? There is absolutely nothing to be jealous about. I love you, not Rena." He said with a small grin. I smiled, feeling relieved and a little stupid for getting jealous so easily. I connected our lips for a sweet kiss before pulling away, hugging him tightly. "And don't think about the little time we have left together; cherish it." He added kissing the top of my head. I nodded, squeezing him tighter. I just didn't want to let go.
