July 1st
When I got to the lake, I was greeted by the one and only Ellen. I love that woman. She is like a second mom. She is the only women I knew that make could you feel truly special.
"My beautiful Cooper" Ellen said pulling me in for a hug.
Her hugs were the warmest. They make you feel safe, loved, and everything in between.
I made my way on to the boat. The dad were sitting around drinking beer waiting for everyone be ready.
I was standing around talking to the dads as we were waiting for everyone when I felt someone give me a hug from behind. I made a quick look to see who it was. My heart dropped. I felt like I couldn't breathe. The way his hands felt around my waist was the death of me.
"What are you doing?" I asked Quinn
"What, the way you were standing you were basically asking for it" Quinn responded in a "duh" tone
He let go after a while because the dads started giving us a questionable look. I honestly couldn't even think straight. I felt like a deer in head lights. But I shook it off and decided to take a seat on the back of the boat to make it seem like that didn't just happen. As everyone got on the boat (finally) I was getting hot so I decide to take my t-shirt of. Once I had done that the one and only Quinn decided to come sit beside me. What is up with him. He never flirts with me.
" Hey Coop"
"Hey Quinney"
"Want to go on the tube with me?" He said as he put his arm around.
What the fuck is up with him.
"Of course! To be honest I like tubing more than wakeboarding."
"Well we can't be friends cause wakeboarding is 10x better." He said sarcastically. As he turns his head away from like he is as disgusting by my statement which was making me laugh.
"That's to bad cause i'm pretty sure we are bffs' for the rest of our lives" I say confident and fixing my posture with confidence behind it. That made him laugh. Everytime I make him laugh I feel my cheeks turn red. I think he noticed that.
We were now in the middle of the lake. Which meant it's time to tube!! But the funny thing is me and Quinn weren't the first ones to go it was Ellen and My Mom. They have never done this before and I was ready to laugh my ass off.
Before Ellen had even got on the the tube she fell off trying to get on.
"BHAHAHAHAHAHAH" I laugh to the point we're I was crying.
I wasn't the only one crying from laughter. Luke was rolling around on the floor crying and snorting. That made me laugh more. The dads were even having a good laugh at it. This is why I love these people.
