The Olive Theory 🫒💗

It was a Friday. Bakugou and Kirishima sat together in a quaint little coffee shop not to fare from their school. It was in fact their first ever date.

Well technically it wasn't their first actual date but it was their first date with just the two of them. You see their dear friends or how Bakugou would refer to them as "dumb extras" always found a way to invite themselves on every one of the dates between the two boys. Ruining the teenagers dates and making Bakugou some how hate them even more. Mainly because they are always bored and addicted to stalking the couple-

Although this time the two young lovers had finally managed to not only plan a date but go on one without their squad crashing it.

Or so they thought.

Little did they know that the only other couples and customers in the restaurant were in fact their friends in disguise who had all simultaneously decided to watch an actual one of their dates for the tea and drama

And to their surprise they for once saw the angry Pomeranian actually enjoying himself

"Haha it's so great to actually go on a date with just you and me for once" Kirishima sighed gazing up n adoration at his boyfriend that he was lucky enough to have in his life.

"I can't believe i'm saying this but i'm actually having a nice time with you Shi- kirishima..." the blond replied a blush forming on his cheeks from embarrassment

The red head stared at him in disbelief. The Bakugou Katsuki had just called him by his real name

Was this even possible?

Was he dreaming?

Up until now Kiri had not even considered the fact that Bakugou actually knew his name let alone would use it

His face suddenly changed colour to match his hair as he and the other male stared at each other both with heavy beating hearts filled with love and bashfulness for one another.

Two tables away from them a 'couple' sat secretly staring at them getting second hand embarrassment from their awkwardness. One of them in a blue wig that was poorly glued on revealing their natural hair and a male sporting a red cap and large coat both wearing large dramatic sunglasses.

These two were y/n and kaminari

On a table behind them a lonesome boy with sloppy pink hair dye, a mask and glasses sat drinking strong coffee and 'reading' a book

This was shinsou

And finally in the fare corner of the cafe a girl wearing green body paint and a big sun hat accompanied by a tall slim young gentlemen in the ugliest most unflattering bright red dress with a blond wig and sloppily applied makeup sat drinking tea constantly stealing glances at the couple in the centre off the restaurant

These two obviously being Mina and Sero

Honestly it was a miracle that the two hero's in training hadn't noticed they were being spied on from their friend ridicules disguises.

Back to the date

The two boys were just enjoying themselves till eventually their waiter walked over with their food .

"One salad for the blond gentlemen" the waiter sad smiling placing the dish in front of Bakugou as he thanked her before turning to Kirishima.

"And one avocado on toast with orange juice for you." the waiter said in the cheery voice shortly followed by a thank you from Kiri.

As soon as the waiter walked away the boys began to eat before Bakugous face suddenly fell and he said-

"oh ffs- they fucking added shitty olives"

And just like that the room fell completely silent as all the members of the squad looked at Bakugou, including Kirishima

Bakugou looked confused. Wondering if he had said something wrong before finally someone spoke up but it wasn't who he expected as Fucking Racoon Eyes speaks up giving him a heart attack.

Why was she here?

He looked around the cafe before realising that they were surrounded by those annoying extras.

"Of course" he thought to himself mentally eye rolling at the realisation that he hadn't been able to escape the extras.

Bakugou then heard Mina say;

"Awwww the olive theory" as she tilted her head to the side in awe.

"The olive theory?" i asked in a questioning voice looking at Kirishima as if he knew what she was talking about and to my surprise he seemed to actually know what the crazy girl was going on about.

Kirishima blushed before saying "it's just this silly little thing. You see my two friends Lily and Marshall make such a great couple and it all comes down to wether or not they like olives" an embarrassed grin spreading across his face.

"Really?" katsuki questioned

"Yeah Lily loves olives!" chimed in Kaminari

"And Marshall hates them" followed Shinsou smiling

"It's like the perfect balance" Kirishima said looking into bakugous eyes thinking to himself about the fact that he loved olives and was glad that he and bakugou now had this connection even if it was only over a silly thing like olives...
