"This place looks like a frickin' haunted house" I had said. The Holiday Inn we had stopped at was very ominous. The hotel seemed to give off a mysterious vibe, with a touch of darkness. As the neon sign that had said VACANCY glowed onto my face, I swear I saw mysterious person flashing us his middle finger, but I was very tired so I barely knew what was happening. "We're here, Destiny." My grandmother spoke in a monotone voice, being very exhausted I would not blame fior being in a angry mood. "Grab the bags. I'ma go check us in." She spoke again in a monotone voice. As I pulling out the bags out of the trunk of my grandmother's stylish and expensive Lexus, it had seemed as the wind was whispering to me. "I will kill you tonight." This had struck great fear into me, but I keep to my buisness. "Sleep with one eye open, or else your granny will die too." This certain wind ended off with a menichal laughter. I surely knew it wasn't wind. It was Snake. I got a other mysterious call. " Looks like you and I will be staying in the same place tonight sweetie, hope you get some rest, then you won't have to suffer when I gut you and throw your worthless body out a window." Why can't yopu leave me alone Snake! I said with a stern voice, I almost sounded like a house wife yelling at my innocent child for breaking the window with his baseball. "Because I want you to feel my pain." Wha-. I stopped my sentence when I suddenly heard the dial tone. I squeezed my large (and expensive) phone in my hand. I just slipped it into my Aeropostale skinny jeans and continued to unload the bags.

"This is nice" my grandmother said . "Well, I'm going to go change and slip into my nightgown, what are you going to do sweetie?" My grandmother always had the sweetest voice. "I'm gonna' go downstairs and talk to some of the other people, maybe make some friends." "Well, you have fun with that."  She handed me the cold key card with the Holiday Inn logo on it, then kissed me. I ran after the door. "Love you granny." I had said. " I love you too sweetie." The last image I saw her doing before I shut the thick metal door was her slipping into the cool sheets and taking out her Bible and carefully looking it over like a document. Once I get out the door, my heart spead up. I didn't know what room Snake would be in and when he could pop out and slit my throat. I paced slowly down the hall, trying to walk without any worry, but still with some paranoya. I began to slow down, with out worry, maybe it was my mind using its figurative imagination. I was wrong. The lights in the hallway began to flicker, that is when I began to worry. Somewhere in the mysterious mazes of hallways taunt me. "Ready or not, here I come." he had said with a giddy, school-girl voice. I began to breathe heavily. I see a fire axe at the end of the hallway. I use my fist to break the glass. I wince in pain, as the crimson blood trickles down my knuckles. In the glass reflection, the lights stop flickering and as pure as day, I could see Snake was 100 feet behind me. "Found you." He had said. Right as when he was walking down the hallway, a (what appered to be) a 27 year old male stand out in the hallway with only his robe on. "Hey!" He had screamed at Snake. "Can you quiet down!?" Snake's thin smiley grin turned into a dark evil frown. I screamed at the man. "Run, he will kill you!" He turned my way and said "He won't do-" His sentence was cut off as Snake had stabbed at his back. The man was gasping for air. "Please don't kill me, I didn't mean it."  "That's what they all say" Snake told him. Snake had pushed him up against the stairwell pole and continued pushing at his spine. "Please! Stop!" Hewas beginning to cry as blood came out of his mouth like a faucet. He began gaspng for air when suddenly,  his own spine was shoved through his broken neck. I gasped in horror, as he began pushing farther untill about 6 inches of his own pale spine was sticking out of his neck. The blood went over the walls, even on me, for I was standing 7 feet back. The spine took his tonsels on the way out of his neck. With it stabbing his tounge, Snake pulled out the rest of the spine. All of this male's internal organs came out, even his own heart. Snake took the heart and bit into it. "I'm so heart healthy." He snickered. When Snake was done with his "snack", he threw it down the stairwell. When it hit the bottom, it exploded. All of the veins and arteries flew up like bungee cords. He threw down the rest of the body, and yet exploded. bits of brain matter flew onto the wall and I could hear the snap of his already broken spine. It also seemed that his eyeballs flew out of the back of his empty brain and bounced along the tile floor like tennis balls. "You're next sweetie." He had said with a creppy grin. I ran down the hall, with my fire axe following behind. I turn to see Snake gone. "Thank God." I whiper under my breath. But, I turn to see him standing in front of me. He yells out "Surprise!" I turn and run down to the lobby, but when I get to the front desk, no one is there,m the only person down there was a old man sitting by the fire reading a book that was titled "Blood-Drenched". "Peek-A-Boo!" Snake screams. He picks up an axe and throws it at me, but he misses and hits the old man in the head. The impact was so great, that his head split in two and fell into the fire. The smell turned from smoky to burning flesh. I keep running, trying to defend myself. I am caught at a dead end. "Looks like the end, Destiny." Snake had whispered to me. "That's what you think." I  said. I throw my axe, and luckily it hit his right arrm. As it was swinging by, the axe chopped it off, spraying blood all over the walls and myself. Falling to the ground, cursing, he screamed in pain. "Damn you!I walk off, but I hear a rumbling sound. It was like the hotel started to groan. Snake began to laugh. "Where do you think all the staff went." He runs off, jumping through a glass window. The doors I was standing 3 feet in front of swung open, and blood began to pour out. I screamed as I began other people's blood, I felt something touch my arm, it was a person's hair from their head, still on their scalp. I turn to find brown blank eyes staring at me, bobbing along the water. I go under, crying, swallowing blood with each breath I take. I finally swim myself outside, and I see my grandmother in our car. "Hurry Destiny!" My blood soaked body squeaked with every step I took. As I get into the passenger seat of the car, I watch the hotel, and from where I was sitting, all of the windows bursted with blood flowing out of each one, like a waterfall. " Oh my God." I had whispered. I turn to my grandmother, knowing that she would something. "I knew something weird was going on here, and obviously, I was right."  I stare out at the sky, not knowing what will happen next, but for once, every since my parent's tragic death, I felt safe, until I got the text that ruined my 2 seconds of peace. As my phone buzzed, I read the text, and the text stated in the message, " you can't run away from death, I see you, and I will kill you and use your organs to feed my pets." I respond back, "then come and get me." For once in a long time, I smiled, knowing I have my hope, and for that one night, I slept with no nightmares.
