You do not need to read this if you don't want to. I just want to record my thoughts on this book before I officially complete it and move on :)
In my opinion, this book went greatly out of hand.
It went from two guys growing feelings for each other to Nick dealing with obsession and negative habits. I feel like I didn't put enough time into forming interactions with them two to develop good chemistry. So, to me, their friends ( enemies in disguise??) -- > lovers thing felt incredibly rushed, and for that, I am sorry.
And then, this sort of spiraled downhill when I fell out of the dsmp fandom and no longer had the interest in writing something that I don't consider intriguing anymore. But, surprisingly, I still loved writing it, and it's my first fanfiction, so VOILA.
Now onto inspirations!!!
First of, this book was inspired ( might be heavily ) by gothxclaudia book: Trash Star. Before I fell out of the fandom, I was entranced in the way she wrote and I especially loved that one book specifically. I recommend you checking her out because trust me, she's amazing!! <3
Second, I want to say thank you to my editor IAmHochi !! She is a very close friend of mine, and she has been editing my chapters for a long time. She had to keep correcting me on my past tense constantly. She always encouraged me and she always helped me out whenever I needed it. She was technically my first reader in EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER. She has been with me since day 1, and I love her [ you ] so much. She isn't even apart of the dsmp fandom. How ironic.
Third! MY FELLOW READERS OFC. I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU FOR ENCOURAGING ME TO KEEP GOING AND LETTING ME KNOW THAT THIS BOOK WAS ACTUALLY WORKING OUT. AGAIN, THANK YOU. AND IF YOU WANT TO WRITE BUT YOU'RE AFRAID, JUST DO IT. IT'S WORTH IT. TRUST ME.
