Third person

Derek's original plan was to drive back home, but midway he decided that he wanted to pay a visit to Stiles and the others. He wasn't sure why, but he felt a pull towards them. Something changed, something big. It was the kind of feeling that reminded him of his best friend and of his lover.

At the same time, over in the Beacon Hills Mikaelson home, Genim got a call from Niklaus. "We're on our way. All of us. We have a few surprises as well. See you soon brother." Genim made sure that the workers got all the rooms ready for his family.

"Boys, get ready for the real drama to begin. The Mikaelsons are back, baby," Genim said as he looked over at Liam and Jackson.

As the rest of the Mikaelsons finally arrived at the mansion, Derek was almost there as well. While he didn't realize it at the time, he was about to be reunited with the people he cared for most in the world.

The first person to hug Genim was his baby sister, Rebekah. "Oh dear brother, you can't imagine how much I've missed you." Kol laughed from behind them and added on, "The troublesome trio is back, and I'm ready to cause chaos." They all laughed, including Liam and Jackson, even though they were a bit nervous. Klaus was the first one to call them out. "And who are these two boys?" he asked, towards no one in particular. Genim responded by saying, "They're friends. Consider part of our family now. They left everything behind to join me and are now my hybrids." As he finished his sentence, the front door opened.

Derek walked in, not knowing it was already a full house. He stopped as soon as he spotted his blonde beauty. "Bekah?" he whispered, as though he was afraid that if he was any louder, she would disappear. Within seconds he felt himself being tackled onto the floor, as Bekah ran to him with her supernatural speed and jumped on to hug him. "You're here, you're really here, baby," he said, still in disbelief. She kissed him and said, "I'm here, and I'm never leaving again. Always and forever, remember?"

None of the others in the room wanted to interrupt the moment, except for Kol of course, who had dearly missed his best friend. "Ahem," he cleared his throat to catch their attention. The couple rose up from the ground and the two best friends laughed. "We have so much to catch up on Kol." "You're telling me, Der. You owe me some whisky."

Liam and Jackson were still a bit confused on everything. "Uhm," Liam started out, "how exactly do you know them Derek?" "And what are you even doing here?," asked Jackson. "I left the pack and was driving home, but felt like I was meant to come here instead. I've known Kol and Rebekah for as long as I could remember. I just didn't know that you guys were related to Stiles," was his reply.

"Genim." "What?" Derek asked, confused. "My name is Genim, not Stiles. Anyways, if my siblings trust you, then welcome to your new pack. As long as you want to be in it, of course." "Yeah, of course. Listen man, I really am sorry about everything that went down. They're idiots. When people aren't used to power, they either become better or more selfish. They went down the wrong path. Maybe some more of them will change sides, but I know that they sure as hell will regret staying right now."

Niklaus chuckled. "They have no idea what they're up against."

After everyone settled in, Genim asked his siblings what their surprises were. Klaus started off by saying, "Well, first off, congrats on becoming an uncle." "Oh, and for gaining a sister-in-law," added Kol. "Not to mention, a sister," said Elijah. Genim looked very confused at all the info thrown at him. "Huh?" "Well, long story short, I ended up having a miracle daughter with a werewolf named Hayley, who is now part of our family, and Hope, my daughter, is the second of her kind," said Klaus. "She's a tribrid?" asked Genim, smiling wider than ever before. "That she is, dear brother." "Bloody hell, this is amazing, I'm gonna teach her everything I know!" "Hopefully not everything," said Kol, laughing at Klaus' weary look. "How old is she?" "She's 16 now," answered Bekah.

"Wait, what did you guys mean about sister and sister-in-law? Were you talking about this Hayley girl?" "No, brother. Believe it or not, I'm married now," said Kol. "Oh God, who in their right mind would marry you, man? And why the hell was I not your best man?" asked Derek. "To be fair, we didn't know you were still alive mate. Not to mention, both me and Davina died like a million times throughout our relationship." "Davina, that's a pretty name," said Liam. "Isn't it? She's one hell of a beautiful girl, and an amazing witch," Kol said.

"And back before any of us, other than Finn, were born, mother and father had a daughter. She was their firstborn actually. They weren't able to have kids in the beginning, so mother promised her firstborn child to her sister, so long as she would bear many children after. Our aunt came to collect. We just recently found out about her. Freya. Turns out, she survived all of these years as a witch. She was never turned into a vampire," said Elijah. "When can I meet the family additions?" asked Genim. "Soon, dear brother. They are on their way as we speak. They had to stay behind for a bit to take care of Hope's schooling situation," answered Rebekah.

Over with the Beacon Hills pack, they were throwing a small party, celebrating the pack being "strong" once again. What they didn't realize was that the biggest and deadliest threats they were about to face were in town.

Even though none of them wanted to admit it, they were all beginning to doubt themselves a little bit. Even the big, bad alpha. What Stiles had said about them not really knowing him at all and how he had been hiding an accent their entire lives was really eating them up. They had a deep pit in their stomachs that made them feel like something really, really bad was about to happen.

None of them wanted to say anything to Scott, in fear of being kicked out themselves. What they didn't realize what that Scott himself decided to visit Deaton, their beloved vet, to see if he knew anything about what was to come.

*Time skip*

Deaton sensed the danger and power in the air, and had a feeling that Scott was about to come see what was going on. The front door opened, and the bells rang. "Deaton, I feel like something bad is here. Can you feel it too?" asked Scott. Deaton answered saying, "Something powerful, and old, very old is here. Scott, whatever it is, you have never faced something like it. Be careful son, don't overestimate yourself. There are much more dangerous things out there than what we have seen. Don't make any enemies." Scott was starting to get more and more nervous. 'It's a little too late for that,' he thought. He couldn't stop thinking about what Stiles meant. Should he have kept him by his side?

Hey guys, it's been a while. This chapter was meant to give more of an insight on the Mikaelson family.

Just a heads up, this is the format that I'm planning to write now. I'm not really planning on changing the previous chapters, but expect it to be like this from now on.

I lost touch with the story for a while, but decided to try and continue it. Please let me know if there is anything you would like to see me add, and I'll see what I can do with it.

Thank you for those who have stuck around.

Have a great day / night!
