Zelda and Link were sitting on the floor, their backs against a wall. A wooden door that had been covered with tapestries was now open for them to see outside. The day's light was fading, and they could hear the sounds of people singing in the streets below. Zelda is a girl, and is in love with Link the boy. They are going to be married but have not yet done so because the evil Ganon keeps coming back and destroying Hyrule. Zelda will marry Link if he can defeat Ganon once and for all. The only way they know how to do this is by using the Triforce of Wisdom (a golden triangle on a silver background) which will make them invincible. The rest of the story is up to you! What happens next? You decide...***"I am fine," said Link, trying to brush off her concern as she moved closer and laid a hand on his shoulder. "You don't need to worry about me."She smiled gently at him for a moment before turning away, but it wasn't out of anger or frustration. It was just as if she felt that there was nothing more to say between them right now. Link knew why. He had told her everything he needed to tell her. She didn't want to feel like she was being dragged into something that would mean parting ways forever when he might never return from wherever he was headed to find the Triforce. She understood that she would probably never see him again after today, but he also knew how much she loved him.He watched her carefully as she walked over to the window and stared down into the street below. Tears began to well up in her eyes, and he saw her lower her head and take a deep breath.A voice came from behind him, and he turned around to see Shigeru approaching him. The boy stopped short of where the two were standing and stepped back."What's wrong?" asked Link.Shigeru looked up at him with an expression that seemed to ask a question of its own. Link stood silent for a moment before replying, "Nothing. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have put you through all that. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your help." Link then touched Zelda's shoulder and said: "It's time to go.""Yes, it is," agreed Shigeru. He gave her one last glance before turning away.Link turned toward the doorway leading into the room, and Shigeru followed. As he did, he glanced over his shoulder at Zelda, who was still looking down at the ground. Shigeru started to speak, but Link raised a finger to silence him."Go home, Shigeru!" said Link. "Stop following us!". Shigeru left and never came back. Zelda was sad for a long time.Link was walking beside Zelda, holding her hand as they made their way across the courtyard. They hadn't gone far when they heard a commotion coming from behind them. Turning around, both of them saw that a group of people were running toward them."Oh, no!" cried Zelda, recognizing the men who were chasing them.Link killed them all, and Zelda cried. Link touched her shoulder and said: "Don't cry, my love. This is what we must do."They ran faster, but the men followed closely behind them."Just keep running," said Link to Zelda, taking her hand.Link then killed all the men, and they made it to Link's home safely. Zelda said; "I love you Link!" She said this with a graceful tone. Link kissed her hand, and held it against his cheek. Zelda was smiling as she watched him.The young man said, "I love you too, Zelda."She said, "Promise me you'll come back.""I'm not leaving, I'm staying. This is my house." said Link.Link said, "I'm your husband now." He took Zelda's hand and kissed it. Then he lifted her in his arms and carried her inside the house.Zelda said, "I love you."Link said, "I love you too, Zelda."Then Link brought Zelda to bed and fell asleep with her.***Zelda woke up suddenly. There was someone standing over her, staring down at her. She screamed, and tried to get away, but the person grabbed her and pinned her to the ground. She was still screaming as Link took her hand and pulled her to her feet. As soon as she was free, he threw her over his shoulder and ran out of the bedroom.Zelda was crying and begging him to stop. He ignored her pleas, and continued on through the palace. He went to the balcony and tossed her over the side, into the water below. She landed in the shallows, and swam quickly toward the shore.Link was waiting for her when she reached the beach."Hey babe." said Link."Let go of me!" she cried."No. We're together now. And we're going to live here.""You're crazy!" shouted Zelda, trying to twist herself free from his grip."And yet I love you so much, Link." said Zelda.Zelda and Link loved each other and would never hurt each other.***Zelda and Link lived happily ever after and were happy.***Link and Zelda were sitting on the ground, watching a beautiful sunset."How does it look from up there, Link?" asked Zelda."So pretty," replied Link.As the sun dipped beneath the horizon, Link reached out his arm and Zelda leaned onto him, resting her head against his chest."I love you, Link," said Zelda."I love you, too."***The next morning Link woke up early and went outside to check on Zelda. He found her asleep beside the fire, a blanket wrapped around her shoulders."Good morning, sleepyhead!" he called. Zelda opened her eyes and sat up. She noticed that Link was wearing his green tunic, and she smiled."Where are you going?""I'm not going anywhere." said Link. He then placed his hand on her head. "You're not going to leave me, are you?""Never.""You still think I'm crazy?""I wouldn't call it insanity, but yes. I do.""All right then," said Link. "You just stay here with me."Zelda smiled. "I'd be happy to."***"Zelda, wake up and bake me a cake." Link said, winking."Okay, okay. Just give me a few minutes."Zelda woke up and got out of bed. She put on a white dress and began preparing a cake. When she finished baking and frosting it, she brought it to Link."It's perfect," said Link."Thank you.""Now eat it."Link took a bite and said, "This is delicious!"Zelda laughed. "That's because I baked it myself."Link touched Zelda's cheek, while still chewing on cake. "I love you, Zelda.""I love you too, Link."***Two years later, Zelda and Link were sitting by the fireplace. She was reading a book, and Link was staring at the ceiling."Are you tired, Link?" asked Zelda. He shook his head. "No. I've been thinking about our life together.""About what?""Well, I guess...we haven't really talked about getting married.""Not yet?""We haven't had any opportunities.""But we will. I promise."Link kissed her, and got on knee and proposed.Zelda was surprised, but happy."Yes." she said."Oh yeah, I almost forgot," said Link. "There's something I want you to have.""What?""Butt."Zelda laughed. "No. No butt."Link smiled. "I thought you might say that."She kissed him.Link said, "You're wonderful, Zelda.""And you're handsome, Link."Link hugged her. "I love you, Zelda."***Chapter 2After Zelda and Link were married, they spent every waking moment with each other. They were walking along the beach when Link spotted a large rock in the ocean."Look at that," said Link. "Can you believe there's a rock that big out here?""I don't know," said Zelda. "I guess anything's possible."Link picked up the rock and held it above his head. "I'm gonna throw this far, just to see how far I can get it.""Is that wise?""Hmmm..." said Link, tossing the rock high into the air.A giant wave swept across the beach and splashed against the rock, knocking it to the ground. They then went night swimming. They were having fun until Link got a cramp in his leg."Ow!"Zelda helped him get back to shore. "Are you alright?" she asked."Yeah, I'm fine," said Link. The two were about to go back to shore, when Link saw a star in the sky. "Look at that!" he exclaimed. "There's another star! Can you see it?""I think so. Let's swim over there and get a better look."They swam as fast as they could, until they reached the spot where they first saw the stars."Wow!" said Zelda. "Look at that! Two stars!"Link pointed up at the sky, and then looked at Zelda. "Do you see it? Do you see it?""Yes," said Zelda. "I see it."Link took Zelda's hand and said, "Come on. Let's go home."Zelda smiled. "Okay. But just so you know, this was really cool.""Yep."The next morning, Zelda woke up before Link did. After brushing her teeth, she opened her closet and grabbed one of her most beautiful dresses, from a long time ago, and slipped it on under her pajama top. Then she combed through her hair quickly. She didn' t want Link to wake up for some reason because of all that fussing she put herself through. It seemed unnecessary, but she couldn't resist sometimes. Then she quietly made her way downstairs to the kitchen. When she was halfway down the stairs, she remembered that she'd left Link sleeping upstairs. If he were awake now, he would have seen her leaving their room. But it was too late to turn back now. So she continued on, still trying not to be heard by anyone. In fact, there wasn't anybody in the house, except for a small animal in the living room. The dog barked and snarled when she entered the room. It didn't seem aggressive, though. Zelda figured it must be Link's pet. She walked up to it slowly, crouched down, and petted it, gently. It immediately calmed down, its tail wagging happily. Just then, Link came down the stairs. "Good morning," he greeted her. He had changed clothes, and smelled like fresh coffee beans. His hair was messy from sleep, and he yawned, showing off his perfect white teeth. "Did you oversleep?""Yeah, sorry," said Zelda, looking away. Her face flushed red. Why had she come down here alone without warning him about going downstairs without him? She was supposed to tell him, after they were both ready to leave, but that hadn't happened yet because of this stupid pet. "What do you wanna do today?""Oh! You're already dressed." Link's gaze travelled upward to her dress. "You sure slept well last night.""It was my favorite night of our marriage, so I thought we should spend it that way." Link laughed, and Zelda relaxed a little bit. "Where should we start?"Link led the way outside. "Why don't we go to the beach?"They set up a blanket and sat down. "How about we play fetch with this?" Zelda showed off the ball she carried.Link grinned. "Let's. Hey, this game doesn't involve throwing the ball, right? That's not what they teach dogs in school."Zelda shrugged. "Maybe it doesn't work like that, too," she mused. "Hey, if your dog is a good runner, maybe they teach you how to run faster on a leash.""Really? I've never tried that.""Well, it sounds interesting! We'll see."Zelda tossed the ball into the air again, and the dog ran off towards the beach. Link watched her, laughing. "She certainly seems happy," he commented."Yeah," said Zelda. "And she probably will make it."Zelda watched as Link ran after the dog with some difficulty. "That's okay. There's no rush. Go ahead and chase her."Link ran after her. "Come back here, you silly mutt!"Zelda stood up and walked down the steps to the sand. She looked around, hoping to find something else to amuse herself with. A few minutes passed, and Zelda became bored. She sighed, feeling a little sad. She didn't mind staying outside all day, but she'd hoped to be able to spend time with Link. It wouldn't be fair, if she had fun without him.Suddenly, she noticed a pair of shoes near her feet. She bent down to pick them up, noticing that they were very familiar. She looked closer. They were her shoes. She was wearing these yesterday, and they weren't in their place right now. Where had they gone? She wondered, and put them in her backpack.Zelda then noticed a shadow coming toward her. Looking up, she found Link standing in front of her. He stared at her intently. He smiled at her. "Having fun?" He leaned forward and kissed her. It was soft, chaste and a super amazing kiss. Link pulled away, and Zelda felt like she was floating. She could hear the distant barking of the dog, and she realized that she had missed Link kissing her. It had been so long since they had kissed... and so much had happened since then....She looked up at him. He was smiling at her, his eyes warm. "You know what?" she said, her voice barely audible. "Today was definitely worth waiting for."Link nodded. "We've waited long enough." He wrapped his arms around her and squeezed her tightly. "Let's take a vacation together.""Yeah," said Zelda, kissing him again, more passionately than ever. "Where should we go?""Anywhere," he said softly. "As long as we're together.""What about Spain?""Spain. Spain sounds nice.""Spain it is," said Zelda. "If nothing else, we can visit your family. And maybe my dad will let us stay overnight.""Sounds great," said Link.Zelda grinned. "Let's go get ready," she said, and turned and began heading towards her bedroom.Link, Zelda, and their dog were walking along the beach."Hey, remember how we used to walk around the village on our honeymoon?" said Zelda."Yeah.""Remember that time we visited the local church?" said Zelda. "And I saw the statue of Jesus?""Yeah," said Link. "It's weird. It feels like a dream.""Maybe it really was a dream," suggested Zelda."Or maybe it's real. I think God brought us together in a strange way. Maybe he wanted me to meet you.""Meeting me would've happened eventually anyways," said Zelda."Now let's go to Spain, my dear beloved husband.""My sweet wife, I am so in love with you...""We're married.""I know...""Let's keep making babies...""Okay, that's just gross...""What?! How many kids do you think we could have in our lifetime?!""Let's not do that. Let's go to Spain.""But what do you say to taking our dog with us? She loves it over there.""Yeah... okay... I guess that'll be fun."Link looked at their dog, who was happily panting in excitement."Hey girl," he said to her. "Want to go to Spain?""Go!" she replied, raising her leg high."Are you crazy? What are you doing?" asked Link."Going!" she repeated, jumping up and down excitedly."Stop it, stop it!" shouted Link, pulling her by the collar. "Listen, you're going to trip on purpose and fall. Can you do that?"The dog stopped hopping around and stared at Link. "Hm?""Can you slow down a little bit so that you won't trip?" said Link, sounding exasperated."No?""Okay," said Link. They got on their flight to Spain.Link was sitting in the plane window seat, facing the front. His hands were resting calmly on his lap, while Zelda was asleep in the aisle seat. She had fallen asleep during takeoff and hadn't awakened until they landed, so now she was just snoring lightly. He glanced over at Zelda. She was still asleep. He smiled. She looked so peaceful.Their flight landed, and they got off. The first thing they did once they had exited the airport was to buy tickets to Madrid. The weather was lovely, and the sun shone brightly; the only cloud was the one that floated across the sky above their heads. It was beautiful.Zelda grabbed Link's hand, and they walked down the street. "Do you want to go to that restaurant with the food made out of seaweed?" she asked, pointing to an open restaurant across the street. "I'm hungry."Link chuckled. "Sure, why not? Let's eat something salty."They walked into the restaurant, and ordered their lunch. After paying, Link held Zelda's hand again and led her to the nearest table."So," he said. "Tell me everything you learned about dragons.""Well, you heard me when I said I'm learning more every day," she replied with a grin. She then touched Link's shoulder. "You know, your hair looks really pretty today."Link smiled. "Thanks."The two ate their lunch, and talked about anything and everything under the sun. When they finished, they went to a nearby arcade and played a couple games. Then they spent a few hours playing a few different games until it was nigh They decided to check out the local cinema, and then returned to their hotel. As soon as they entered the hotel, the dog barked, jumped from the couch and ran into Link's arms, wagging its tail vigorously.Link scratched behind its ears. "Hi, girl," he said. "Did you miss me?""Yes!" said the dog as it licked his face."Oh, that reminds me..." Link reached into his pocket and took out a key. "Would you like to sleep in this room tonight?" he asked. The dog looked up at him, and suddenly she started licking the key. "I told you, I don't think she likes this room, Link. It's too stuffy, and noisy. It smells of fish and onions, and I have never slept in such a tiny space. Besides, even if she sleeps in this room, she still gets lonely every night," explained Zelda."Hmm..." said Link. "Okay. You're probably right.""Besides, I haven't even gotten to show you what's inside the basement," said Zelda."What's down there?" asked Link curiously."Nothing," she replied with a grin.Zelda and Link stood in the kitchen, holding bowls of popcorn in their hands. Zelda pointed at a box lying next to the oven. "Look! Inside that box is chocolate ice cream, which is one of my favorites.""That sounds good," said Link. He looked around. "Where is it located?""Right here," answered Zelda, leading the way through the hotel they were staying in, while taking a vacation in Spain. When they arrived at the kitchen, they found boxes all over the floor, filled with various kinds of treats. Some were labeled 'Ice Cream', others were labeled 'Cheese' or 'Souffles'. There was also a large amount of cans of tuna, several packets of saltines, and other snacks."I'm done looking at icecream, you're attractive in Spain." Link said.Zelda laughed. "Come on, Link, I've been thinking of you all morning." She handed him a bowl. "Here. Get some of these things out of there. We'll start eating in a minute." She grabbed a box of Saltines and started eating them."What are we having for dinner tonight?""We're going to a Spanish restaraunt, because we are on vacation in Spain.""What kind of food is in that?""You'll see."After a quick shower and change of clothes, the two headed out of their hotel room and to the restaraunt. The restaraunt was small, but very cozy. There were a few people standing around chatting while drinking Spain juice and talking. A group of children were running around, laughing loudly. In one corner of the restaurant was a huge aquarium filled with fish of all sizes. Two women wearing matching Turtlenecks sat at a table and watched the fish swim around. A waiter came over and gave Link and Zelda their menus."Thank you," said Link."I wanna try some of that Spain juice everyones talking about. I heard it makes you very happy." Zelda said."Oh, I wouldn't mind trying some myself," said Link."I'll bring your drinks, then," said the waiter. They waited a moment and then he came back and placed their drinks on the table. Link picked up his glass, and took a sip.He swallowed the drink. "Wow!" he exclaimed. "It tastes amazing."The server smiled. "I'm glad you like it."The three finished eating their meals, then left."This place is nice," said Zelda. "It's almost like being in the countryside."Link nodded. "Yeah, I love it here."A man came walking toward them. "Excuse me," he called, interrupting the couple."Yes?" said Link, smiling."May I ask where you're staying?""At the Palacio de los Reyes.""Ah yes. I was wondering what your name was. I'm Juan Martinez, the manager here.""Hello, sir," said Link politely. "My name's Link, and this is my wife, Zelda.""Welcome. Is there anything else I can get for you before you leave?""Actually," began Link, "we're just going to stay here for a while."Juan raised an eyebrow. "Really? Well, there's no problem with that. The hotel has a lot of rooms available.""No, thank you. That's not necessary."Juan shrugged. "Alright then. Enjoy your time here.""Thank you!" said Zelda, waving to Juan as he walked away."I wonder what's taking that man so long to take our bags up," sighed Link.Zelda giggled. "Don't worry. He knows how much you love your room, Link. Don't you worry.""Of course, I do," said Link. "Now let's check out the hotel."When the couple went back to their hotel room, they opened their luggage to find a bunch of stuffed toys, books, and other random items."What is this?" said Link, picking up a pink bear."You should keep it," said Zelda. "I love bears.""But look! It's too big," he protested."Well, you can always give it to another friend," replied Zelda.Link smiled. "You're right. Okay, well then... shall we check out the rest of the hotel?""Okay."They checked out the rest of the hotel, and finally settled down in their hotel room. After they had eaten their fill of junk food, they lay down together on the bed and gazed up at the ceiling."How are you feeling?" asked Link after a while."Much better," she replied. "I guess I could get used to this.""I don't know what to say," he said, chuckling. "If I didn't feel as though I was falling apart, I would never have allowed you to come with me on my trip."Zelda rolled over to face Link. She grabbed his face in between her hands and kissed his lips. Her smile widened as she moved her mouth against his, and she wrapped her arms around his torso. Link wrapped his arms around her waist, and leaned closer to kiss her. They stayed like that for a short while, kissing each other passionately. Link's tongue explored the inside of her mouth, and she felt warm butterflies fluttering in her stomach. Soon they broke off the ki and rested their foreheads against one another."I love you, Link."He smiled and squeezed her tight. "I love you, too."Chapter 3As soon as Link and Zelda stepped foot back onto the boat, they saw the ship sailing away from shore. Zelda turned to Link, smiled and put her arms around his neck. "Goodbye Link. Hopefully tomorrow will be a fun day.""It will be, don't worry. Now let's get to bed."As they stepped aboard the ship they got ready for bed. After getting changed into their pajamas, they crawled under their covers and snuggled close together. Link wrapped his arm around Zelda and pulled her closer, planting kisses on her forehead and cheeks."Do you remember what I told you when we first met?" said Link."Of course I do," said Zelda. "You told me that you wanted to take a cruise ship to North Africa before we head home to Hyrule Britain." "And now we're doing exactly that" said Zelda. "Going to North Africa!"Link smiled. "It seems like only yesterday that we got married.""It feels like forever ago," said Zelda, leaning back in bed."And I wish it could go on forever."Their boat arrived in Morocco. The sun rose bright and hot above them. As soon as they disembarked, Link noticed a little restaurant that had a sign outside:"Mocha Meringue Pie!""Let's go in," said Link. "It looks delicious.""I'm hungry." said Zelda. The pie reminded Link of the warmth of love. He reached across the table and took her hand in his. "Come on, Zelda. Let's go eat."As the couple walked inside, they were greeted by a pretty blonde woman sitting behind a counter. She smiled at them. "Hello.""Hi," said Link. "Can I order one of those mochas? They remind me of love."She giggled. "Sure thing, sir."Link ordered two more mochas, one for himself and one for Zelda. When the waitress brought them their desserts, Zelda took a bite. Then she frowned. "Hmm... maybe they need something a bit sweeter..." She grabbed her purse, rummaged through its contents until she found a sugar packet. Then she added a teaspoon of sugar to her mocha, and stirred it. The mocha melted immediately. Link smiled. "See, wasn't it sweet enough?""Not quite yet.""I'm tired of talking about sweet food. Lets get back to that Moroccan hotel." Link said, winking at Zelda."Are you sure?" said Zelda. "I really am tired.""All right then," said Link. "Let's just enjoy ourselves."They spent the next hour or so sitting in one of the restaurants on the beach, enjoying themselves. At one point, they walked up to the beach to watch the surfers surfing. Some people were riding a board. Others stood on the board and held on tightly as they surfed. Others sat down on the board, while surfing. The sun beat down upon them. Link looked up at the blue sky and thought about how beautiful everything looked at the beach.Link glanced at Zelda, who was sitting next to him. He noticed that she was smiling brightly. Even though she wasn't saying much, the smile she had on made her seem very cute and radiant."Hey," he said quietly."Hmm?" answered Zelda."Would you mind if I put my arm around you?""Why? Does that make you uncomfortable?""No, of course not. I just want you to know that I care about you very much.""I care about you too, Link," said Zelda."Thanks." Link looked at her again. "What are you thinking about, by the way?""About what? You?""No, I meant what are you thinking about. You seemed happy during dinner.""Oh. Well, it was good," said Zelda. "We talked a lot about stuff. Stuff about how awesome Morocco is, and our marriage is very beautiful and marriagefulLink chuckled. "That's true.""It's also very romantic," Zelda continued. "There are so many great things we've experienced together.""I know. I feel the same way."Finally, they headed back home. When they arrived at the house, they decided that they deserved a nice shower and then sleep. Once they climbed into the bed, Link held Zelda in his embrace. She snuggled closer to him."Goodnight, Link.""Goodnight, Zelda," Link whispered.***A few days later, Link and Zelda were having breakfast. After the meal, Link helped Zelda prepare their lunch. While she prepared lunch, he went outside and washed the dishes. When Zelda came outside to bring lunch to the table, she stopped and stared. Link was standing perfectly still in the middle of the lawn, looking at the trees."Link?" Zelda questioned. "What is it?""Nothing," he muttered, walking towards Zelda. He kissed her softly on the cheek. "Everything smells wonderful today.""So does everything look beautiful," replied Zelda, gazing at the trees. "It's such a lovely day.""Yup. And it looks like we might rain at some point.""It'll be fine. We'll be fine," said Zelda, turning around and smiling. "I love it here."Link smiled and wrapped his arms around Zelda. "Me too."After eating their lunch, the two of them started walking back to the house. Before they could cross the road, however, they heard an unexpected voice coming from behind them."Excuse me," said a man wearing sunglasses and carrying a cane. "May I ask where you are going?"Zelda turned around. "We're going home, please don't try to sell us drugs and illegal things, old man."The man laughed. "Don't worry, my dear. I wouldn't dream of trying anything on you. In fact, your husband may want to help me carry these bags into the car. It's heavy.""Oh, okay," said Zelda. She turned to Link. "Help the man with the bags.""Gotcha." Link picked up the heavy bags, which consisted mostly of books, notebooks, pencils and pens. As Link carried the bags to the car, he began to wonder whether he should be taking these items along with him or leaving them behind to sell later. But he pushed those thoughts aside and carried on to the car. When Link opened the car door, the man quickly entered the passenger seat of the car. He placed his briefcase on the floor next to him and smiled at Link. "Thank you for helping me out.""No problem," replied Link."I think we should go back to Hyrule Britain, and finish this vacation we are on. I miss being home and nice and cozy in our Hyrule Britain bed." Zelda said."I agree." said Link. "Let's go home."They took a plane home.As soon as Link and Zelda got into the Hyrule castle, they collapsed on the couch in the living room. Link placed his feet on the coffee table, while Zelda laid her head on his chest."How are you feeling?" asked Link."Good. Really good. It's been a very long time since I had a relaxing vacation.""I'm glad. You deserve it. You've worked so hard these past months." "Can we start pumping out some kids? Life is tiring these days. I need kids to fill the void in my heart." Link said.Zelda leaned over and gave Link a kiss. "I think we can make another baby.""Really?" asked Link. "I'd really love to have a family of our own."Zelda smiled. "I would love to have 5 children too.""I'm so glad you said that." Link caressed Zelda' face gently. "You know, I'm thinking about starting up a company. A company that makes toys, like toys for kids.""Like a toy store?" said Zelda."Sort of. There will be stores all over the world that specialize in toys. People will come from far and wide to buy toys for their young children.""Isn't that kind of expensive? Don't you have to work for years to earn that kind of money?""Well, yes, but if I do this, I could afford to take some vacations every year. Maybe even a honeymoon once in awhile.""That sounds fun. What will you call your company?""Link Toys. It means 'My Link.'"They pumped out 5 kids and produced toys for them all.THE END
