Swirly straws

Chapter one:The kid in the cupboard

It starts with a young cup named Coco Coley.He lived on a place called Inkwell Isle.
Coco has a light red nose and often sported a yellow swirly straw and a small pin that looked like a soda bottle.He liked to cook and he wanted to learn how to play an electric guitar.
Coco has two older siblings.His brother was named Pepso and his sister was named Villa.
Coco’s mother strived for perfection and expected her children to do the same.When Pepso and Villa couldn’t live up to their mother’s high expectations she pushed Coco to try to be the golden child.Coco’s mother liked to dress in a red twenties style flapper dress.
Coco’s mother often sent him to school but she also worked as a club performer.
When her work made it too busy to ‘take care’ of Coco she saw a babysitting ad in the newspaper saying that someone named Elder Kettle was available to watch children.
Coco was in his room when his Mother called him down the stairs.
“Coco,get down here,NOW!”She yelled
“Coming Mother.”Coco replied
“Coco,I’m sending you to a babysitter.His name is Elder Kettle and if I hear anything bad about you,you’ll be punished severely.”Coco’s mother said
“But can’t I just stay here?”Coco asked
“You’re too young to be here by yourself.”
“Okay…”Coco replied reluctantly
When they got there they were greeted by two cups who were the same age as Coco.
The two cups were named Cuphead and Mugman.
For the first few days Coco would hide in an empty unused cupboard.
“Ugh,is he gonna come out soon?”Cuphead asked
“Cuphead,you must wait until he’s ready,he’s probably just scared.”Elder Kettle said
“What’s he got to be scared about,we’re not gonna hurt him or nothin’.”Cuphead said
“Just be patient,he’ll come out when he’s ready.”
Cuphead refused to be patient,he got his brother Mugman to help lure him out though Cuphead mostly dragged him out.
“C’mon,Don’t you want to play?”Cuphead asked
“No,I wanna stay!”Coco exclaimed
“Cups,what if he doesn’t want to?”Mugman asked
“Well too bad,you’ve been in here for days.”
They made poor Coco play hide and seek and instead of hating it or being scared he actually enjoyed being able to play for once.
Coco,Cuphead,and Mugman soon became good friends.
