Chapter two: Shattered pieces

Coco learned a lot of new games to play with Cuphead and Mugman.He taught Cuphead how to cook properly and cooked for Elder Kettle a lot.
One day Cuphead,Mugman,and Coco were outside playing tag.
Coco was ‘it’ so he was chasing Cuphead and Mugman through the woods.
While he was running after them Coco accidentally tripped and fell face first on a rock.
Coco broke the entirety of his right eye.He was lucky he didn’t get shattered then and there.
Coco sat up from where he had fallen thinking that nothing was wrong until he saw the shattered pieces of white ceramic pieces all over the ground.
Cuphead and Mugman heard something shatter when Coco fell.
They looked behind them to see Coco with half of his face gone and shattered pieces on the ground.
Coco just stared quietly at the ground in complete and utter shock.He couldn’t hear much except a small muffled ringing sound.
“Coco,are you okay?Coco?”Mugman cried out
“We need to get Elder Kettle,quickly.”Mugman said to Cuphead as he ran towards Coco.
Cuphead ran back towards the house to get Elder Kettle’s help.
Mugman ran up to Coco and tried to snap him out of it.
Mugman tried gently shaking Coco’s arm.
“Coco,Hey,can you hear me,Coco?”Mugman cried
Mugman shouted and it snapped Coco back into reality.
“Hey,are you okay,what happened?”Mugman asked
“I…I can’t see out of my…eye.”Coco whispered
“What…?”Mugman asked
“I..I can’t see out of my eye…”Coco stuttered
“It’s okay,we’ll get you help,just stay calm.”Mugman said
Coco’s breathing became louder and louder.Mugman tried to calm him down but nothing was working.
“Coco;please just calm down,It’s gonna be alright.”Mugman said
“She’s going to be so m-mad at m-me.”Coco sobbed
Cuphead and Elder Kettle came running towards them.
“Coco,what happened?”Elder Kettle asked
“I think he fell and broke his eye.”Mugman said
“B-broke my what?”Coco asked
“Nothing,Coco,It’s fine,let’s just go get you cleaned up.”Elder Kettle said
Elder kettle let Coco walk ahead a few steps to where he was out of earshot.
“Try to find as many pieces as you can,boys.”Elder kettle said
“Is Coco gonna be alright?”Cuphead asked
“He will be in time,though we may not be able to find all the pieces of his eye,he might not be able to see much but he’ll be okay.”Elder Kettle said
“Is it our fault he tripped?”Mugman asked
“Of course not,these things can happen,hopefully his mother knows that.”
