"Welcome to Gelatin Gelato, the very best gelatin for miles though. What's your sweet tooth craving today?"
She giggled faintly as she finished the company's mission statement.
"Choco Chunk Chocolate"
Surprised by the exact name repeat, seeing as she's never remembered serving him,
"Excellent. Here you are."
She pointed as the machine began whirling a huge whirl.
"Any flavor suggestions all are accepted, just has to be edible."
She pointed to the stick tabs against the top counter with a jar of colorful pens next to it.
As she checked on his sweets she missed his answer, turning back to face him,
"No? Well, maybe next time around. Hopefully, you enjoy this and will be back."
Handing him his disposal bowl, multiple napkins, and several spoons in a company logo littered bag.
"Enjoy, I look forward to seeing you again."
She smiled as she hit a button that cleaned the machine as she tended to the next customer,
Ken stood with his crew, each shouting the flavor that caught their eye from the menu above their heads, he simmered them down to get an accurate list of what each wanted. Quieting down as a girl around their age approached the counter stopping in front of them.
"Hello, Welcome to Gelatin Gelato."
Before she could finish her required sentences, Ken interjected, at least he would have had he not been overridden.
"Hi, how are you. I like chocolate and brownies but that's not a mixture up there."
10 said as he slid in front of his friend, pointing up to the menu, confused.
Without missing a beat, she pulled out the chocolate menu with various combinations on it.
As he looked it over she left and returned with the stick pad,
"What type of mixture did you have in mind with the chocolate and brownies, sir?"
He looked behind the menu held up to his face, lulled by how soothing her voice was, Ken behind taking note.
"Oh, I'm not sure. But I know what I want. We all want the same one from here. "
10 concluded as he pointed to the eighth option on the menu in his hold.
"Excellent, anything else?"
The group quieted down, glancing at each other before facing forward, shaking their heads in agreeance that that would be all.
"20, will cover it?"
Ken stepped forward wanting at least a slight interaction with her.
Smiling,
"That's exactly right. How did you know?"
Ken smiled as he read the receipt over and it was exact.
Shrugging he took the bag and handed it to his dudes behind him, wanting his separate one handed to him directly.
"Here you go. The very last one."
The group thanked her as they headed for the door, Ken lingering behind,
"I would like your number, please."
"That's not allowed while I'm on the clock."
Ken nodded as he watched her smile his way once more as the door dinged and she walked away, he looked around and he chose a spot tucked away as he waited.
