Newcomers

Bridget and Mikey walked along the path, they have been out for a few days now. 

"What?? You're saying that you don't even know who this Akeldama guy is? His motives? OR his end goal???" he said

Bridget nodded not thinking much of it, she never thought about why Akeldama was doing the things he was doing, or even who he was in general. It was all a big mystery, and she doubted that Ren knew as well. 

"Get her!"

Bridget and Mikey turned to where the voice came from, a little woman was running from a couple of bandits and catching up to her.

Bridget opened the pocket where her yoyo's were kept. However, Mikey stopped her.

"Wait, this is the perfect opportunity for me to try out this new thing im working on."

Bridget nodded and shut the pocket and Mikey went behind a rock where the bandits would eventually get close enough to.

Once they were in proximity, Mikey threw a flask filled with orange liquid, it blew up and exploded the bandits, just barely missing the little woman.

Mikey sat behind the rock congratulating himself and Bridget approached the little woman.

"Thank you to you two for saving me... I would have dealt with them myself, if I wasn't so careless of my surroundings."

"You're welcome, what's your name?"

"Hailey"

"I'm Bridget"

Haily curtsied. Now that Bridget could see up closer, she figured that Hailey was an elf. She had the pointy ears and everything.

Mikey walked up and they introduced themselves as well. As much as Bridget liked meeting new and nice people. They were wasting time.

"Where are you guys off too?"

Mikey explained to her their entire situation and why they were travelling. Bridget confirmed what Mikey said only leaving Hailey in awe.

"So you guys are trying to find your friend? Who is on a journey to take down an evil overlord type guy?"

"Pretty much"

Hailey stopped for a second and thought to herself, to which then she finally spoke again.

"Can I come with you? I promise I won't get in the way and I am an exceptional fighter, contrary to what you just saw."

Mikey and Bridget looked at each other, then looked back at Hailey and nodded. Saying yes to her proposal. After all, Bridget thought that the more man power they have, the better.

Hailey smiled happily, "I promise you will not be disappointed!"

So they continued on the path, all three of them now getting to know each other. It turns out that Hailey was from and elf village afar, and was on a journey to find who she truly is.

It was late. Yet none of them felt like stopping so they continued to travel through the night. The stars were beautiful at night, they all twinkled in the sky.

The moon lit up the surface of which they were walking on. It illuminated the path as they walked, almost as if trying to be a "guiding light"

To their surprise, they ran into no hostiles the entire journey at night. It was quite peaceful and very enjoyable. Dawn finally dawned and they still had energy, so they used it to find an inn to rest at.

After travelling for a few hours in the morning, they found a small inn at the side of the road. When entered, a bartender kept at the bar while an inn keeper sweeped the floors.

It was quite cozy, all three of them walked up to the counter and rang the little bell, alerting the bartender of their presence.

"What can I do you for?" He said

"We would like a three rooms please."

"Well you're gonna need to talk to the inn keeper there, she keeps tracks of the guests and the keeper of keys."

They turned and looked back at the woman who was right behind them, Hailey screamed and Bridget was startled. Mikey seemed unfazed.

"Your key...117, 118, 119..."

They slowly took their key from the lady.

After walking to her room and getting settled in, Bridget decided to alter her yoyo's. After going at it for a bit she finally figured out how to make them set on fire with a certain pull of the string. This would definitely be a good asset in battle.

Mikey made himself food before going to bed, after making the perfect dish. He thought it tasted a little funny, so he threw it all away and went to bed.

Hailey played magic a bit in order to entertain her before bed, she was adept in the arcane arts but always wished to learn more. 

They all went to bed and woke up that night, their sleep schedules were altered, but if each nightly trip were to be like the one they had prior, then they didn't mind. Although they knew that wouldn't be the case.

Bridget woke first, getting up and looking out the window that of which showed nothing but the night sky as well as the forest neighboring the inn. 

She waited for them downstairs and when they finally came down. They set out to continue their journey!
