"What do you think of my glorious idea, Etana? Everything you and this boy went through was to reach 'THE END'. 'THE END' marks the end of this game! No more life! No more death! No love and no hate. Life will always have hate. Where life is, hate is. You will see- no... FEEL what i mean; hate is animosity."

The blackness of Atol's vision fades into reality. He notices some of the other kids standing around him. "Yo, are you okay?" A familiar voice says. After a few seconds, he recognizes it as Lily's voice. Atol stares down at his hands, in shock at what happened before passing out. "Y-yeah, just confused on how I did that.."

"It was so cool!" One of the kids around him spoke up. "Yeah you saved us!" Another says. "Yeah, but you don't know how you did that?" Lily asks.

"No.. I have no clue-" The boy began before everyone could hear the noise of sirens progressively getting louder as police cars get closer to the warehouse. "Yes! We can hear the sirens now!" One of the older kids' say as the speak into a phone. "After you passed out, the guys ran off. They just left us here so we searched the guy you knocked out for a way to call for help. " One of the other kids explained, almost like he could read the confusion on his face as how the other boy got the phone in the first place.

Car doors could be heard slamming and footsteps get closer and closer as the police finally got to the warehouse. "Is everyone okay?" One of the many officers asked. "He and a couple other kids are injured." An older girl spoke, pointing to Atol. "Some kids still can't feel their legs after being injected with whatever was in that needle." She continued.

.

After a few minutes, the police managed to get all the kids outside to get checked up on and questioned after aiding who needed to be helped. Some kids got put into police cars to be brought to the station where their parents would pick them up, while others were taken to a shelter. However, Atol didn't want to go.

"Come on, kid. It's best we take you to the shelter since you say you don't have parents to go back too." One of the officers say to Atol. "I'll be fine on my own!"

"You just went through something traumatic. It would be safer for you at the shelter." Another officer speaks calmly. Atol began to think to himself for a bit, he knew she didn't know about the experiments, though he felt as if those words were directly about them. 'I guess I could always sneak back out anyways...'

"Alright, you're right.." the boy sighs, playing along and following the female and male officers into a cop car with two other kids. While on the way to the shelter, the boy took note of the surroundings, as he planned on going back to get his cape that reminded him of his brother back whenever the cops weren't around.

At the shelter, the kids get questioned once more, however it was by detectives this time. However, Atol noticed two things that caught his attention. One being how he didn't see Lily in the shelter anywhere. 'She must've been taken to the station..' The other was that there was a girl that was just a few years older than him in a detective uniform. Her short bright red hair making her stand out even more than the fact she was the youngest on the team. He couldn't hear what an officer was saying to her but she looked annoyed.

Before Atol could get closer to eavesdrop, another detective asks for Atol's time to ask him questions about what happened. "Uh... I actually need to use the bathroom first-" The boy lies, feeling uncomfortable about what transpired at the warehouse. "Oh alright, we just have to get an officer to lead you to the bathroom as to make sure you don't try escaping like another kid did."
