COOPER

Cooper William King, a respectable fellow, though it may seem. But there’s something that isn’t quite right about him in anyway of the sort.

The man sat at his desk doing what was needed. In which was just simply going over reviews and things he found utterly useless to him. He didn’t care for most reports unless they were about sales or how to increase the sales of the company and what not. But there was another thing he was interested in; in which was the women he worked with, but to be exact; it was only his secretaries and nothing more. Or perhaps women he picked up at the bar. He rarely ever went to the bar. He thought it was pure filth. And he also thought the women were unpure and ruined. That none were clean, and that they went there only for the lonely men who were desperate for any kind of touch.

To be exact, Cooper wasn’t interested in any of the people he was with. But everyone that had got with him had ended up missing. The man was never interested in women nor men; though he has been seen with a male of his age, but it was uncertain if he had any sort of a relationship with the man. That is not the point though. The man is simply bored. He’s done everything, even though he’s only twenty-five. There is one thing he hasn’t done, but perhaps he did, and it was right under our noses, and we didn’t notice at all. Perhaps he is getting away with the crime. Perhaps he’s utterly insane and no one knows that he’s the one causing the innocent people to disappear. Or even to be found dead in some cases. But no one suspects him, not even his father who is the owner of the company. He’s simply just slipping through the crack’s unseen; undiscovered; untouched.

Cooper had stumbled across an interview that was hidden within reports. He looked at it, but he was already uninterested in it. He didn’t see why a man like this Jason Walters would want to be a secretary, he thought he would fit into more the CEO role due to him being overly good-looking. He didn’t want men to be his secretary at all, even though his father has requested him to hire one for himself, but he always refused to do so. So, he just tossed the interview into the trash without hesitation. Then he soon went back to work with the reports and writing down notes on some, so they could fix their mistake that they had made doing the graph or the essay. But as he continued to work, he got knock at the door. He stopped his pen and looked up at it, “Come in,” he said softly, and the man did so as request.

He closed the door and stood there with a slight smile on his face, “I’m Jason Walters, your father had told me to meet you for the interview,” he looked at him and Cooper just stared at him with a dead expression.

“Please have a seat, I will start the interview shortly,” he pointed to a chair that was close to his desk and Jason happily sat down in it. But Cooper just went back to his work, completely ignoring the man that sat right before him. This caused Jason to grow slowly impatient as time went on from hearing him scratch on the paperwork, but soon the working man had stopped and looked up at the other, “Why do you want to work here? Is there something you perhaps found interesting while applying, Mr. Walters?” He asked and leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his own chest.

“Well, a friend recommended this company to me, and I thought being a secretary wouldn’t be that bad, and I also heard that you paid well compared to other companies in New York,”

“Well, Mr. Walters. I’m sorry to say this, but I’m not really interested in hiring you, I even threw away your interview. I do not want another secretary right now; I usually give the load to an employee I know will get the work done. And you, don’t you think you’ll make a better director or CEO with looks like that?” He smirked at him, almost seeming like he was being rude to him, in which he was. This caused Jason to just stare at him in disbelief of what he has said to him, almost as if he was offended by the smart-ass comments he was receiving from the spoiled brat. But he just stood up and nodded at him, like he was understanding what he was getting at, but he didn’t. He went to the door and opened it and walked out.
