Ember

Pulling up to a cute little dinner, I'm thankful he didn't take me somewhere too fancy. Don't get me wrong I would love to go to one-one day but not for a first date, I'm nervous as it is. "Em relax it's just dinner OK?" Smiling at him I watch him jump out the car and walk around to my door, opening it. " Thank you Jax." He smiles and we walk in hand in hand, might I add to the back of my brain. " Jax long time no see brother!" Looking up at the voice, it's an older looking guy, probably around his forties "Hey man been busy lately. I want you too meet my girl Ember, Em this is Brian he owns the place with the best food in town." Brian smiles as he laughs softly. "Thanks brother, we try our best for our little gem."

I like this guy, he has a calm energy around him. "I love it Brian and I'm glad he brought me here tonight to experience it with him." Brian smiles at me before wishing us a good night as we head over to our table. "Look over the menu and pick what you want, personally I'm getting their double cheese burger with bacon. It's to die for." I smile at him and put my menu down. He looks at me with worry. " You said bacon Jax so I'll try it." He smirks with a glint showing in his eyes as our waiter comes over. She adjusts her uniform top before walking over and all eyes on Jax. "Can I take your order handsome?" I raise my eyebrows, am I invisible to this bitch? "We will have two double bacon cheese burgers with fries and two vanilla shakes please, thank you." He says all this while not even looking up at her and hands her the menu. She huffs and walks away. Looking up at me he asked how my day went at work. Simple yet comfortable conversation, which I appreciate. "I finished one today that broke my heart. A mother came in to get her babies foot print on her forearm. She lost her when she was two months old. I couldn't imagine the pain she went through." He looked genuinely sadden at my words. Something about his compassion makes me more attracted to him. "Well thankfully they have people like you with amazing skills to give them a permanent memory, Em. " With a sad smile, I see blondie walk back over with our food.

"Here's your food, can I get you anything else, maybe for to-go?" I look at her then her name tag. "We're fine Sarah and we wont need anything else so you don't have to come back over." Trying to keep my emotions off my face I look at Jax and of course he's smirking again. "Baby girl you're sexy as hell when you're jealous."

With a mocked expression "I was not jealous she was annoying and honestly flat out rude to ignore me like I wasn't here."
"Mhm well don't you worry I only have eyes on a certain someone who just so happens to work for me." He sends me a wink and I feel the eye roll as I continue to eat my food. His face drops and he inhales slowly. "Don't roll you're eyes baby-girl unless you want a punishment." Fuck that was hot, punishment? Shit slap my ass and tie me up daddy. My eyes widen when his eyes grow dark, shit did I say that out loud? " Yes Ember you did and it's taking everything in me to be a gentlemen tonight." Shit Before I could think my mouth opened up. "Then don't be Jackson." He throws some bills on the table probably way more then needed and grabs my head and before I know it I'm thrown against his car. He leans his face in brushing my ear and I can feel his light facial hair rubbing my neck. "You know that mouth of yours is going to get you in trouble one day baby." Something in me screams to let this man take me right here. Just let go of everything and feel.

"You don't say." shallow breaths, my chest, heaving for air. His mouth moves down towards my lips and before I know it, it's like electricity shooting through my body. "Fuck baby girl, can you feel what you do too me?" He grids his pelvis against me and he's hard alright. "Jax please don't stop." something vibrates and he pulls away with a grunt, pulling his phone out he all but growls. " WHAT!" Somethings wrong I can feel it, his eyes shoot to me and there's anger laced with worry. Trying to get my breathing under wraps I start to get nervous about who's on the other line.
" We will be there in ten minutes. " He hangs up and pulls my door open before shutting it and running around towards the driver side.
"Jax what's going on, who was on the phone?" His hands discoloring as his grip becomes tight. His eyes are that dark black color again I'm starting to get scared at this side of Jax.
" Jax, i-is everything OK?" He takes a deep breath before shaking his head. "Rose is in the hospital, she's ok but banged up pretty bad."
I gasp, tears threaten to fall out of my eyes, of course thinking the worse. Did they find us? This just shows you that no matter how well live is going, something can change in the blink of an eye.

"It's going to be OK Em were here, let's go see her OK," Walking into the crisp white, alcohol smelling building. I hate hospitals nothing ever comes good out of them. We make our way down the hall and I take a deep breath before walking into the room. Nothing prepares me to she her like this again and the memories take over.
