Another Discord work! I think I'm just going to post these frequently, because they're very fast to write. I'll still work on my other stuff. This just gives a more regular flow of new content.

Kae sat with Steph.

He brought a boag to his mouth and started eating it, like a hawk trying to swallow a mouse whole.

Steph stared at him with morbid fascination. "You're...still...eating those things?" Kae grinned at her "Love them. Not as good as onions, though." "You- you ate onions raw?" "Actually, I preferred garlic. But yes." She shuddered, flipping through her cookbook "These all look worse than the last."

He smiled "Boags may be ugly, but don't underestimate their hidden beauty."

"You need therapy."

"Oh, come on."

"Also, your breath smells...awful." Kae shrugged and picked at the table. "Yes, it is gross. I'll be sure to buy mouthwash." "Why? Why are you- stop eating that!" He looked up innocently from it. "Oh, come on, you don't need all of the boags to make the lasagna."

She held her hand up to her mouth and groaned "You're too happy about the stats, you know that?" Kae looked insulted. "Kolb said it himself. Boags increase VIT!" "After fifty! Nobody except you eats enough boags to make that matter!"

"Well, Ghost is eating them."

"Ghost loses too much health to not. Trust me, he wasn't happy when I gave him boag juice. The rest of us aren't power gamers. We don't need to be eating fifty boags! We don't even need to be eating one!" Kae leaned back and sighed. "Fine, but...man, boags are good."

Ched, passing nearby, gagged and ran away. "Dude, that smells disgusting!"

Kae shouted "It's the natural state of a boag to smell bad!"

Steph shook her head and sighed, before asking Ghost "So, more boag juice?" Ghost shook his head madly. "No, no more." Then he looked at Kae, repulsed. "You seriously eat those things raw?!" Kae horked down the last of his boag with a sound like a cat puking on a clean white carpet. "Yep!"

He shook his head "Go help Steph in the kitchen. I'm not eating any more of these. My stats aren't worth my taste buds." He cheered and stood up. Steph shakily got up and said "I guess we should start."

With that, they scurried off.
