Monsoon to the Rain Lily [MinWon]

CHAPTER - 1

Wonwoo was at the entrance of their university waiting for the rain to stop or to slow down so he could get back home. He was the only one left among his friends group as he was studying in the library.

The sound of the rain was the only thing that he could hear as all the students have already left. He shivered as a gush of moist wind hit his body. He took a deep breath, taking in the smell of rain that always made him feel calm.

"Did you forget to bring your umbrella?"
Asked a voice from behind him making his heart jump.
'How did I not notice someone's presence?'
He thought as Omega and Alphas had high sense of smell and looked behind to see a tall guy with sharp features
standing behind him. He had seen him few times, but he didn't know his name.
'Oh! He smells like....rain!'
He recognised that as the smell of wet soil got denser along with hints of cedarwood.

"Uh... Yeah." He said feeling awkward as he was not used to new people approaching him.

"Oh!  Then you can have mine, I bought a car so.....here" the guy said offering his umbrella to Wonwoo.

"Thanks but It's fine I can wait. You will get drenched till you reach the parking so you should take it."

"Then how about we go to the parking together and then you can take the umbrella."

Wonwoo thought for a second and then answered " Okay if you insist."

They got under the umbrella and hurried to the parking. The slight brush of their shoulder makeing Wonwoo fell warmth in his cheeks. He could feel his heart beat increasing. He glanced at the guy beside him whose cheeks have gotten pink as well.

They reached the parking in no time.
And Wonwoo didn't know what to say it seemed like the other guy was going through the same thing as he was fidgeting with his car keys. They both stood silently beside the car while thinking of what to say.

"Tha-" they both said at the same time

"You go first " Mingyu said while laughing.

"When can I return the umbrella ?" Wonwoo asked

"It's okay you can keep it I have another one at home. " The guy said while giving him a grin.

" I'm Mingyu by the way" the guy said offering his hand for a hand shake with a toothy smile.

"Wonwoo" Wonwoo said taking his hand with a smile.

"I think we should get going before it gets dark. I can drop you off at your place if you are ok with it." Mingyu said while unlocking his car.

"Thanks for the offer but It's fine. I don't live that far. It's just five minutes walk. " Wonwoo said politely declining the offer with a gentle smile.

"Okay then.... see you" Mingyu said while getting in the drivers seat.

After Mingyu's car was out of view, Wonwoo started walking home while thinking about the events that took place. The never thought interacting with an Alpha other then his friends could be this comfortable.  He was surprised by the fact that he didn't feel any discomfort or suffocation while being this close to an alpha . Maybe it was because the alpha's pheromones had the smell of rain that he finds comfort from....who knows. He didn't wanna think too much about it.

"I'm home!" He yelled as he reached his home.
He saw his mom working in the kitchen he went to greet her and then made his way to his room.
