Chapter 1

[Ellianna's POV]

"America- One of the supreme power of the world is under suspicion by its own people.
Through a research report done by group of students in Hayward University, it has been observed that abandoned and needy people who settle on the streets are vanishing day by day. We interrogated with some of them here an--------------- "

Rubbish! I switched off the television.

"Eve-Ah! Are you up?" Aron asked from the kitchen.

"Yeps. Just getting fresh." I replied while brushing my teeth.

"Be quick! Omletes are ready."

Aron is my best friend, at least that's what I call him. We both live together in a multistorey building on fourth floor.

Have you ever seen S.H.E.I.D head quarters on Earth? Or Stark international's non-existing gadgets? Or even Oscorp's laboratories?

Everyone keeps on searching there paradise, but Aron and I fabricates our own; and its always like this with us.

We'd renovated our entire floor into a virtual land of Aron and Elly. It's neither mundane nor notorious but due to our high expectations it fails to please us. Still we love our home because its impossible to even conquer this much at our age.

I quickly finished brushing my teeth and comb my hair. Then I shuffle throw my cloths and only pair left worth wearing on this special day was- my favourite black shirt with The Matrix code drawn all over it and blue worn out jeans.

I went out of my room, packing my bag and making sure I've kept all the forms and money inside safely.

"Ohayo!" I said cheerfully.

"Ohayo Gozaimasu." He replied with equal gusto.

He served me my breakfast and sat on the kitchen's slab to have his orange juice.

"Excited for today?" He winked which was followed by that sweet smile of him.
I simply nod in agreement smiling more widely to myself as I thought of my day ahead.

Every year our college sends ten students on behalf of entire university on an international trip for learning experiences. Each year topics varies from mechanism to ecology and food-tech to arts. And this year its Robotics.
We were informed about it at the beginning of the year and were given forms to fill, to pay the required amount of fees I've even joined a job.
I'd worked so hard for this day! Not me alone, Aron too joined somewhere in Spinsters Restaurant to help me collect money. Even though he was not coming, he wanted me to go badly. Reason being- No. 1: It's like a dream come true to me. No. 2: It was his dream too. I feel sorry for him but we can't help it.

"I hope you've kept the form along with the money safely in your bag, don't forget to take my share too." He said grinning, shifting me out of my thoughts.

"I'm not a baby! You don't necessarily have to remind me everything like I'm an Idiot!" I snapped, eyeing him.

"Do you know how dangerous that is?" He said pointing at me.

"What?"

"That look." He pointed at my eyes.

"What look?"

"That look."

I stayed silent. Uncomfortably eating my breakfast. He was still watching me. His eyes studying every detail of my face. I glanced up at him and immediately turn away my gaze.

"Awe! Embarrassed?" He pointed out teasingly.

"Shut up!" I snapped, actually embarrassingly.

"Look at you! You're all red! My Lil Baka!"
He was coming towards me.

"I'll throw this omlete on your face, stop it!"

"Plate's empty!" He smirked,
"Poor little idiot!"

"ARON!"

"BAKA!"

He was certainly enjoying all of this. I get on my feet and launch him a punch. But he caught hold of my arm and pinned me back on my chair.

I shrugged,"Aron! I'm getting late!"

"Like this anyone can take you down! Miss Dolt-y!"

Now he was pissing me off. I prepared my leg for a brawny Inazuma kick and kicked him in his tummy.

"Ouch! That hurts!"

He get off of me in pain. I smirked and was about to go outside; but he called me from behind,

"Wait! You forg---" He said coming after me.

I don't know what happened to me, amusingly terrified, I ran away.
