DADDY ISSUES.

it was 3 in the morning. in my usual 3am playlist, daddy issues started playing. a friend of mine gave me her number, and i decided that it would be funny to message her. she had a proper sleep schedule and i didn't, it's pretty unfair in all honesty.

i opened my phone, went to contacts, and put in her number, which was supposed to be her number cause i got the last digit wrong, and i didn't notice.

i breathed out a sigh of relief, calming down after i saw that they're just a normal person, not some mafia bitch. i laid in bed and stared at the ceiling.

a couple of minutes if procrastinating had passed, and i decided to go out and get a breather. my room was getting stuffy.

i took a jacket and put it on cause it looked cold out. of course, i took my phone and wallet with me, just in case, then i'm ready to go.

i quietly opened the door to lead me out of my room and tried to avoid the most creaky parts of the floorboard. it was a successful first attempt, i started to think it was just beginners luck.

i was able to get down the stairs swiftly, almost falling down in the process. basically, i almost fell down several times, but i balanced myself. i skipped several steps too.

i went towards the shoerack near the door when i got down the stairs. i took my shoes, sat down on the floor, and put them on. i stood up when i finished and unlocked the door, opened it, got out, locked the door, and shut it.

i locked the door, and i didn't have the keys. i didn't think about bringing the keys with me. i panicked for a bit but then calmed down when i remembered there was a small gap in my window that i could open.

i dug through my pockets, and felt a spare house key. i completely forgot that i put the spare house keys in my jacket's pocket. i was relieved. it's no use panicking when i had the spare keys.

the entire neighborhood was really quiet. i treaded around and along the sidewalk and continued walking forward after walking in a circle for a few seconds.

while walking, i took out my phone to check the time. i turned my phone on and it showed that it was 03:31.

during my walk, i spotted a parking lot. i don't know how long i've been walking to get me to the parking lot. but i did see a lot of shopping carts.

considering that the morning was boring and i wanted to have some fun alone, i ran to the lot with the carts.

i saw a big random stick and grabbed it, then i got into a cart. i used the stick as a paddle and used it to move the cart, cause i pretended that the cart was a boat.

while rowing, i almost made the cart fall backwards and sideways. but i was fine nonetheless.

i got out the cart after getting bored of it, then i used it for another purpose. i used the cart as a cauldron, and threw in random things i saw; like leaves, rocks, sticks, grass, and other things. i pretended that i was making a potion. god, i felt like a kid again.

"jesus fuck man... it's boring as shit." i murmured, throwing the big stick to the side. i turned to look at the stick, and got the most random idea. i feel like i'm doing blasphemy at this point.

i grabbed the stick and got in between two puddles, then i raised it, "i am moses. i parted the red sea." i started laughing evilly-ish and brought the stick down.

while i was doing that, someone walked by the lot. someone walked by the parking lot and saw me. "oh shit. oh fuck."

i slowly backed away, my palms started sweating and my eyes glanced everywhere except for the figure that was watching me.

as i was backing up slowly, i bumped into a cart. i panicked even more and looked around, trying to find something to use for defense and not thinking about the big stick i have.

the person eventually left with a chuckle, and i placed a hand on my chest where my heart is located, and let out a breath i never knew i was holding. i felt so relieved and relaxed.

i stood straight and turned to the cart that i bumped into. i kicked it, blaming the cart while doing so. "fuck you, someone stared at me cause of you." there was a bitter tone in my voice.

taking my phone out of my jacket's pocket, i turned it on to look at the time. i felt like it was getting early, plus, i have school today. i looked at my phone and 03:45 showed. i decided to get home.

while i was walking back, i almost got lost multiple times. i got home safely, lucky to not get kidnapped by some cheap looking white van.

i was met with the sight of my gorgeous home, then i ran towards it. i took out the spare house keys to unlock the door. hopefully no one got in my window.

i got inside, locked the door, and took off my shoes. in going back up to my room, i had to do the same process as the one i did when going out.

i stepped on a couple of creaky boards, but i didn't wake my parents up, luckily.

arriving to the entrance of my room, i opened the door and walked in. i shut the door, then took off my jacket. i put my wallet and phone away, then sat on my bed.

i laid down after, and procrastinated again. but it's a lot more focused on school than some other things. i took my phone to look at the time, and it showed 0:4:11.

putting my phone away, my procrastination extended for a longer period of time. i slept exactly 5 minutes away from my alarm.

sleeping 5 minutes away from my alarm became something usual. from time to time, i would wake up at 4am and then go to sleep 5 minutes before the alarm.
