(11) Road Trip to Boston

2 weeks later,

**Knock knock**

Bucky heard someone knocking on the front door, Zara opened it as she came downstairs. 

"Morning Zara..is Bucky up?" London said 

"Um yeah smell the food." Zara said 

"Don't be rude." Bucky said as he came into the living room. 

He kissed London, "Morning. You look beautiful." He said 

"Thank you." She said 

They walked to the kitchen and ate breakfast. After breakfast she helped him clean up the dishes. 

"So I won't be able to hang out tonight after class or tomorrow." She said 

"Why?" He said 

"Because I have to go to Boston tonight for my doctor's appointment." She said 

"Is something wrong?" He said 

"No its just I have to go twice a year to get scans done." She said as she dried her hands. 

"I want to come with you." He said as he pulled her closer. 

"Bucky you have practice and what would you say to coach or my brother?" She said 

"I don't have to tell your brother anything and I can talk to coach privately. I told you baby you are #1 not hockey. I'll park my car at Logan's and we will go together." He said as he wrapped his arms around her waist then kissed her. 

"Okay." She said 

After they were done with classes, Bucky parked his car in Logan's garage and they left for Boston. 

"Can I ask you something?" He said as he drove. 

"Yeah." She said 

"How did you know something was wrong?" He said 

"I didn't. We just knew I was getting bad headaches that would put me down for days. Then one day me, my mom and Holly were all out at the mall shopping for HOCO dresses. My mom held one up to get my opinion and when I tried to speak it was all jumbled together and I tried again but ending up passing out and seizing on the sales floor of Macys." She said 

"Oh wow.." he said as he was thanking his sunglasses for hiding the welling tears. 

"I was rushed to the ER, and they did a bunch of tests and thats when they found the tumors." She said 

He reached over and grabbed her hand to kiss it. 

"Another question I had, was when we meet what did your brother whisper in your ear that made you two fight?" He said 

"He doesnt want me dating his team mates cause of my past with Kaden. They lost their championship game cause Kaden's head wasn't in the game. After my fight with Kaden when I called it quits me and Benny got into it. He just doesnt know the whole story and just automatically blames me. Kaden isn't as innocent as Benny would like to believe." She said 

"Does Benson know about the baby?" He said 

"No, I was still to early to tell anyone and it was a miracle in its self cause I didn't think I would be able to produce on my own given the fact that I had to do chemo for a year." She said 

They continued on their road trip, with car karaoke and getting to know each other. Once they arrived at their hotel they crashed. The next morning they had breakfast then went to her appointment. She got her scans done, and everything came clear. 

Bucky asked all kinds of questions to her doctor. 

"Has mama met this one?" Kat said 

"Not yet.." London said with a smile 

"This one is a good one I can tell." Kat said in her ear as she walked them out.
