Chapter 2
My eyes widened and a smirk came apon my face. " Sounds great to me." I said with excitement.
I mom looked shocked by how quick I answered her.
"Why don't you think about it you must have some friends you like or teachers too." She asked me
"Really to tell you the god honest truth I don't have any friends and if I did they would leave me the second we became friends, and for teacher don't get me started on them all they want is to see kids like me to detention." I finished with I puff of air and walked over to the kitchen. I grabbed my thinkin food aka popcorn. I had trouble opening the thick plastic package. Afterwards I popped the flat popcorn bag into our ice blue microwave. I poked my head from the corner of the kitchen.
"I forgot to mention that my bus driver smells like some type of rotting dead animal in a bag." I giggled as I talked.
She looked at me and started to giggle.
"Well then he hasn't heard of a shower then." She finished with a sigh.
I sat down and pushed the bowl to her and we both began to munch away a the buttery popcorn. It was a matter of minutes till the popcorn was gone my mother got up, pushed her chair in and kissed my forehead. I sat there for 3 minutes staring at the empty bowl. I picked up the bowl and walked over to the sink and washed the bowl and put it in the dishwasher. I headed for my room to see my mother packing up her stuff.
"Well if weir going to move I advise you to start packing up for the end of the week I'll send the school a note that you'll be moving with me." She said and turned around to start packing again. I nodded and walked into my silent room well mostly silent my hamster broke it till he began to run on his running wheel. I was to tired to start packing so I slipped out of my school close and jumped into my PJ's and crawled into my bed.
My alarm clock went off as usual but today I decided to push the clock off my night stand.
"Ops." I said in an innocent voice.
I rushed to get down stairs but ended up slipping down the stairs.
"I'm ok." I said as I jumped to my feet.
My mom rushed over to see if anything was broken or bruised.
"I'm ok mom just fine ok." I reassured her
"Thank god I don't think we need a trip to the hospital today." She replied with a smile.
I walked over to her and gave her a huge hug. I looked down at these papers on the table.
"What are those papers mom?" I asked
"Oh this is the house weir going to live in looks nice right!" She replied happily.
"Wow when did you find this beauty." I chuckled.
"Well last night when you went to bed I looked up on this real estate online looking thing and then I found it." She replied to me. I took a last look at the paper and ran after the bus.
The class bell rang all the kids were seated and Miss Thorn began to speak till I walked up to her desk and gave her the note about that I had to leave at 12:05 to finish packing up. She looked at me with discussed and sent me back to my desk again. At 11:35 the bell for lunch rang and everybody even me ran though the hallways to make it to the lunch room. Why everybody runs though the hallways because everybody wants to be first to get there yummy food. I was the first one to get at the front of the line for once. I bought two slices of pizza a chocolate milk and a fortune cookie. Not a really healthy lunch but I was putting some type of food in my tank. I shoveled my food down my throats.
"May I go to my locker I'm leaving at 12:05?" I asked this random teacher. He nodded and then gave a me glare and walked away. I rushed to make it to my rusted locker and pushed all my stuff into one big bag and dragged it down the stone stairs to the main office. There was my mother waiting there fro me with a huge grin.
"Ready to go kido!" She smiled
"Yup mummer." I replied back.
"Then here we go." She said sounding like peter pan. There was a tuck behind us with all our stuff and back seat was Dr.Glickenstein.
"Hey buddy ready to go." I asked him like he was going to answer. All he did was sneeze and lick his paws
"Awww cute." I remarked in a cheeky voice. I forgot that I hated driving in the car for long periods of time.
"Mom I'm hot." I complained. She turned on the AC
"Mom I'm to cold." I complained again. She turned it off. That only lasted so many times till my mother turned on the radio. I looked out the window and listened to the music and fell into a deep sleep. I'm not sure how long I was asleep of but it sounded like I long time the way my mom described it to me.
"Look were here Oaks Ville." She said. All I could see was an old sign with the o in Oaks Ville missing but a dark spot were it was. There were vines crawling all over it and the roads were cracked with pot holes in it.
"Ok we're looking for house number 76." She whispered in my ear. Looking from side to side I finally found the house that's right I found the house.
"On the left mom." I pointed out.
"Thank Alice." She put her arm around my shoulder and hugged me awkwardly. The car stopped I was the first to jump out of the car I held the picture up to the house
"Wow it looks a lot different then the picture." My mom shouted out from the car.
"Yeah." My voice trailed off. The sound of crows made my ears ring from all the noise. The air smelled sour too.
