However, it seemed that group K's performance of 'Love Me Right' would be saved as the best for last as it would be recorded and edited in such a way with all the other groups going first. Therefore, you had some time to reflect on what you had done since being a part of the show.
Recently, you had all been given the opportunity to record some short candid videos and 'TikTok's' for the MNET company. It was all in an effort to further the promotion of the programme, but all the same, it was pretty fun to do. Some clips from the episodes or behind-the-scenes were also posted on there and you hadn't had the chance to watch them properly.
It was especially fun to record a version of the signal song with Yoo Jong Woo, Han Yu Jin and Kim Ji Woong. It had started with all four of you holding hands and jumping a little before moving your hands randomly in the middle along with the beat. Then, you all quickly moved into staggered positions with you and Ji Woong in front and the other two behind to dance the real choreography, adding in a few extra moves to make it more entertaining.
As you and Ji Woong stepped backwards to switch with the two behind, you turned to each other with him making a finger gun and you making a finger heart and winking. Both of you couldn't help smiling more as you finished the dance by spinning into the ending position where Ji Woong and Jong Woo were behind making a large heart with their arms, and you were with Yu Jin in front, crouching with him. Your arm was wrapped around his shoulder with another finger heart while he shot at the camera with a wink.
'Wow, I'm teaching them so well.'
It was a charming little 'TikTok' and got many likes apparently.
Some of the more recent videos you had shot during training for the group battle were with the tablet - nicknamed 'Pad' - you had been given to practice with. You had also taken a few photos, some of them being one of Jong Woo pretending to propose to Ji Woong, another of Kum Jun Hyeon making overconfident 'cool guy' faces at the camera, and one of you with Kim Tae Rae, Kim Min Seong and Yu Jin who were all leaning or laying on your lap, a couple of them even sleeping from the looks of it. Remembering that was actually a little sentimental for you, but you tried not to dwell too long in the past.
Instead you had some performances to watch, that of which, yours would come around soon enough.
From Hwang Min Hyun's introduction for the teams, you could already tell it was the song by Wanna One, a difficult one to learn too as said by the members themselves. From the cheers in the crowd, Hwang Min Hyun himself gave a little demonstration, managing to look so charismatic while doing so.
"I'm so jealous of him, he's really an angel who can gain the crowd's support just like that," you sighed, making Ji Woong once again question your judgement with a raised brow. 'He must really be blind, unless he's striving for even further perfection, wow, I don't even know what to say.' It seemed to have become a habit between the two of you now.
When the teams made their way on stage, you couldn't help but feel nervous for them. From what you could remember, they consisted mainly if not all of lower star ranks. One time, you had passed by their studio during what seemed to be vocal and rap training, and it was...questionable in a way.
Now, everyone was awaiting group G's performance of the difficult song, although, there didn't seem to be much hesitation as the music started playing.
The rapping was good, especially on Kei's part, but the vocals were a little lacking with some of the high notes being maybe a little off-key or not clear enough. However, the guy who had the killing part gained a lot of cheers as he lifted up his shirt to show off his toned stomach. It made you smile out of disbelief at how easy a short move could get such a response.
