After Lin was escorted back to her flat, Vyn returned to the NXX with the rest, discussing what to do now that she knew. They had all fallen for her, even more so now that they had actually met her. Marius let out a long sigh and sat down in the chair closest to the door.

"I suggest we befriend her, maybe we can keep a closer eye on her that way?" he suggested. The others gave him a weird look, thinking it through for a bit.

"That doesn't sound like a good idea," Rosa interjected. The men had forgotten she was there, pre-occupied with their own thoughts.

"She said she wished to come back to the center, meaning I will be able to look after her mental wellbeing," Vyn said. They all nodded for a bit, and turned to other tasks, such as trying to crack down who was after her.

-

Two days passed since the weird incident with the extremely hot men. Vyn had a therapists office, and I had asked to see him once a week, just to have someone to talk to. I was back at work, feeling scared, yet confident. If such a team of capable men were looking out for me, I had nothing to fear.

"Welcome to Stellar Coffee," I said as a man stepped up to the register. He gave me a shy smile. I felt myself blushing. In front of me stood a tall man with brown, messy hair, piercing blue eyes, perfect skin. My eyes drifted for a bit, until Emily stepped in and bumped my hip.

"You're new," he said with a smile. I felt my blush spread even more, only able to not.

"N-Name.." I managed to utter. He was very good looking, and my mind started to wander.

"James," he said calmly. I nodded and wrote his name on the cup, along with a heart. He didn't seem like he was the type to go without love, but I wanted to give him one anyway.

-

James came to the café every single day for the next two weeks. I told Vyn about it, saying it was nice. Vyn seemed a bit sceptic about his character, but I assured him that he was a proper gentleman. Friday after my shift during week three, James stood outside, leaning against his car.

"Evening, beautiful," he said. I stopped, a bit shocked at his sudden appearance. He was wearing a fancy suit, and holding a bundle of roses. My favorite flowers.

"What? Me? I'm just in my silly old uniform," I said and let out a nervous chuckle. He took a step away from his car and handed me the flowers.

"If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to take you out on a date tomorrow evening," he said. I looked up at him and let out a snort. He just smiled.

"Don't worry, it'll be during daytime, and somewhere crowded. I understand that it might be strange to be asked out in this fashion. What do you say?" he asked. I looked at the flowers, then back up at him.

"Lucky for you it's my day off tomorrow, and I need to get some shopping done. How about we meet here for lunch, then walk down the main street?" I suggested. He nodded and gave me a kind smile.

"Looking forward to it, Mi Lady. Have a wonderful night," he said, before stepping into his car. I watched as he drove off, feeling my heart pound in my chest. It was almost dizzying. I managed to stagger my way back to the flat, and sat in a weird haze for a few minutes, trying to collect my thoughts.

-

James walked into the office of his boss, straightening his tie. His boss sat in their chair, staring at a screen. The room was dark, so you could barely make out the figures.

"Contact has been made, sir. She fell right into the trap," he said. His boss nodded, looking up from the screen. James bowed, and walked out of the room. Left to their own devices, James' boss leaned back and looked at a picture in their hands.

"I just hope she won't hate me for this," they whispered to themselves.
