Dol'lea hurried onto the bridge, Verr right behind her. "Open the channel." she ordered. Legatus your parents are dying. The Myragion need you to come back. There is nothing we can do for them here on Terra Firma. They were experimenting with a substance known to us. They found nothing that could help them get better. The began to age rapidly and there was nothing they could do. Dominus Thames came over the come unit.
"Yes, Sir. I need a few days to prepare my team."
Alright Legatus, but no more then three days or you will not be here to say goodbye to them. If they survive that long. This is something new we have never seen before. Also you have to pick up new members for your crew. Zeta command has requested that you pick up these Myragions. The channel closed.
Dol'lea placed a hand on her head. Her first finger and second finger on the bridge of her nose with her thumb helping pinch her bridge. Verr looked over at her and could tell she was frustrated. Dol'lea never focused on her past. After being told her parents were dying she was a little shocked. Verr put his hand on her shoulder. She rubbed the temples of her head to ease the headache she was getting for trying not to remember. She used the past as a way to make her stronger as the years moved on. "Well that's on them." she straightened, "Matra, set a course for Terra Firma, but be in no hurry." "Yes, Ma'am."

She wasin her quarters when ALL'N chimed in. LEGATUS, YOU HAVE A MESSAGE. "Put it through." she replied.IT IS NOT A LIVE MESSAGE, LEGATUS.
"Play it."
DOL'LEA,
IF YOU ARE HEARING THIS THEN YOUR FATHER AND I HAVE EXPERIMENTED WITH SOMETHING WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO CURE. YOU PROBABLY DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT WE ARE DOING. A LOT WAS LEFT UNSAID. YOUR FATHER AND I NEVER TOLD YOU THAT WE WERE PROUD OF YOU. IT IS TOO LATE NOW. YOU MAY NOT BELIEVE IT, BUT TRUST ME. WE ARE SORRY FOR HOW WE RAISED YOU. WE NEVER COULD ACCEPT THAT YOU CHOSE THE MILITARY OVER SCIENCE. WE JUST WANTED YOU TO SUCCEED THE WAY WE HAD. WE WANTED YOU TO LIVE OUR DREAM AND NOT YOUR OWN. WE LOVE YOU.
The holo disappeared and the room fell silent.
LEGATUS, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?
"Yes, ALL'N. Thanks for asking."
YOU HAVE A VISITOR.
"Thank you, ALL'N. Send them in."
Dol'lea stood and was greeted by Verr with a look of concern on his face. "Are you alright?" he asked placing his hand on her face.
"I am fine. I will not let this hold me back in the upcoming mission."
"I know you won't, but it is okay for you to feel every now and then."
"It is the past. I have already mourned them."
"Understood. Don't get lost in your own head."
"I will do my best not to. You are a welcome distraction from my past. I am just glad that we are far from Terra Firma."

Many years ago
A young girl no more then fourteen years old was in her room watching a military program. She could hear her parents arguing over the latest experiment down in their lab. Everything they had done made her sick of being the child of scientists. She was determined to join the military after high school. My parents would never approve of me joining, but I might as well go down and see what they are arguing about this time. she thought going down the stairs. As she made her way to her parents lab noticed a smell that could knock a person out. Ugh. What are they doing in there? she thought getting closer to the lab. They must be working on something big. Her parents worked for the military, however, they would not let her join.
