Summertime love

Chapter 1

My back pack was heavy with my stuff from my locker. Today was the last day of school and it felt like school lasted 2 months. It was a dark and rainy day, my favorite kind of day. The ran sprinkled on my fluffy, thick and short/long brown hair. The rain felt cold but warm in a way. My face was heavy with tears because one I didn't want 9th grade to be over and two I had just broken up with my boyfriend because he was in love with someone else. I walked over to the bus area and waited for the bus at the same pole as I always do when I wait for the bus. The rain started to poor harder and harder but luckily where the bus riders are has a roof about 4 feet above us. A few minutes later my friend ople walked up and waited with me like we do every time but this time ople seemed different. The bus came after about 10 minutes later and we climbed into the bus and sat in the front seat. We were quiet for a bit then I broke the silence.

" ople, you ok?" I asked her putting my hand on her shoulder. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes.

" I'm moving to California next week." She said hugging me.

" what I thought you were going to go to California after next school year is over." I said surprised but I didn't let go of her.

" no, my dads boss said he was going to fire my dad if we didn't go in two weeks." Ople said letting me go. We both were quite and my stop came.

" I'll text you as many times as I can!" I yelled to ople when the bus drived away. I sighed and went into my house.

" oh, Sarah your home." My mom said when I put my stuff on the couch, " btw, pack up were going to Branson mo. In a few hours." She added giving me my suitcase. After I packed I let my two dogs in sugar and griffin. Griffin was waging his tail so hard that his butt was shaking with it, so I like to call him a butt. I laughed and got my iPad out and got on YouTube to watch the latest anime I was watching ' ouran high school host club ' I love that anime. When it was time to leave me and my bro mark got in the car. I was in the backseat and he was in the middle seat. I slept the whole way mostly because I get car sick. We all got into the tree bedroom condo that my mom rented for the week. When I got in my room I unpacked then got my phone out and texted ople.

' ople, want to video chat?' I texted her.' sorry can right now but I can text' she texted back. I sighed.

' so, how are you and Luke doing?' I asked her.

' he broke up with me like an hour ago so yea,' she texted back.

' do u know y?' I asked her.

' he started dating this guy. So he is gay now.' She texted back.

' wow bummer.😥😢' I text to her.

" Sarah, time for dinner." My mom called.

" coming." I called back.

' sorry, gtg.' I texted ople.

' k, bye' she texted back. I put my phone on my charger and walked into the dining room. I sat down and we prayed and we started to eat. We were having fried chicken for dinner.

" so, how are you and Tom going?" My mom asked me. I started to go down in tears.

" he broke up with me today." I said trying to be clear.

" Sarah I'm so sorry to hear that." My mom said putting her hand on my shoulder. I pushed it off and finished my fried chicken then left and went to my room. I turned on the tv then I heard a knock at the door.

" Sarah, get a good night sleep because tomorrow we're going to silver dollar city." My mom said from the door.

" ok mom, I will." I replied. I slipped under the covers and turned on my side and went to sleep. In the morning I could smell pancakes and bacon. After breakfast I got dressed in some shorts and a T-shirt. On the car ride to silver dollar city we had blank space on and we sang to it. After that we played the cup song and my bro sang like a goat giving birth. Finally we got to silver dollar city. The first thing we did was do a cave tour. The cave was marvelous, we went over 500 feet deep underground. I hit my head a couple of times but that's part of having fun. After the cave we rode some rides. I went on a roller coaster called the ' powdered keg', it was the best thing ever. At the start of the ride you would exalt to the normal rail and after about 5 seconds we would shoot about 90 mph. When that happened I felt a surge of awesomeness go through me, next we went on a ride called the thunderashion, it was slow well compared to the powdered keg. After a few hours of walking around we went back to the condo.

" Sarah! Come here please!" I heard my mom call for me. I sighed and hot out of bed, I walked to the living room and say my mom and my brother sitting there.

" ya, what is it?" I asked sitting down.

" so tonight we're going to the show boat." My mom told me. Excitement shot though me. About around 7 we left to go to the show boat.the show was nice, the first part of the show was about 1 hour long and we had 30 minutes after the first part to explore. I not to the front of the boat and stood there. The breeze felt good on my face and my hair was blowing with the breeze it felt so good. After a few minutes this boy with golden blonde hair with the most beautiful shade of blue eyes walked up and looked at the view.

" it's a nice view, isn't it?" The boy said to me. I looked at him and smiled.

" ya, it is." I replied to him.

" I'm jack." He said putting his hand out.

" I'm Sarah, nice to meet you." I said shacking jus hand.

" so, do you come to Branson much?" Jack asked me.

" ya but not much." I replied, " why, do you live here?" I added.

" no..." He said. I nod and I look back at the view.

"So where are you staying?" I ask.

"Meadows." He says with a sigh.

"Me too." I say a little surprised then his phone rings and he picks up. After about one minute he hangs up.

" cool. So, I got to go but text me sometime." Jack said giving me a paper with his number on it.

" ok, I will." I said as he walked away.
