14 years old and a warm heart. That's what I had. I had a small back pack, light blue coat, and jeans. I have light brown hair,blue eyes,and a pale face. Traveling is what I planned on to doing. I owned a small military base up north, from a large lot of building with fences surrounding it. The base was overrun into the 6th year of the apocalypse. After that I headed up the train tracks to Terminal, in my tank of course.
Around twenty minutes later, I arrived. I kept the hood up, the scarf covered my chin and mouth. Once I pulled up to the gate gun automatically were put up. I jumped out of the hatch, pulling the knife out.Then a man, he wore a maroon sweatshirt, dark blue jean pants, a sheath, and black sneakers, he had auburn hair spiked up in the front, and dark sunglasses, he was a bit tan but not very.He then pulled out a kukri a type of a knife weapon.
"...Why are you here?" He asked his fingers balanced on the end of kukri.
"To join, why else would I be here?" I answered with a tone of annoyedness.
"Well you can't-" He tried finishing when a man approached. He had dark red hair it was long but messy, he had something covering his eyes, and a sniper in his hands.
"Zeke I'll keep a close eye on him." He answered.
Zeke stared at him for a period of time, then opened the gate, letting the tank in also. I walked in observing the main building which had the a large word on it. "Terminus"
The man with the dark red hair motioned me to follow.
"My names Blade." He said while looking foward as we walked into an old ware house. "Yours?"He said.
"Geo. George Landres, but really Geo.." I stared into the ware-house, seeing pillars on the inside, hammocks connected to each one.
"Choose one."Blade said sternly. I then went onto the last one, placing my bag to the side.
"Why'd you let me in?" i asked trying to seem strict but nice.
"You remind me of myself, when I was young. Like a little brother."He answered calmly.
"So we are brothers now?" I said sarcastically.
"Everyone in here is family, your just new in here." He looked back at me."Now go meet everyone."I nodded at him walking to a courtyard filled with around 15 people maybe. I met, Elena,Mason,Kat,Vanessa,Randi,Kylie,Vic,Jordan,Roy,and Artemis.They greeted me with open hands and showed me around, well Blade really did. I'll explain what they look like and all. Elena, she had long brown hair, she was very tan,like a orange color, she wore black boots, and a short Black crop top, she was pretty tall, but she is a psychopath. Mason, he's a ginger, he is very pale, light green eyes, and the oldest of the group. Kat is Zeke's girlfriend, she had light brown hair, her main weapon is kind of a crossbow, and she loves to hunt, she wears a black shirt,blue jeans, and brown boots,she is also a bit tan, but a normal tan. Vanessa has light blonde hair. She wears a red beanie and has glasses, she has a small smile though, she is pretty pale, she wears a black shirt with a patterned shirt button up shirt over it. Kylie is the youngest, shes kind of crazy. Victor has long brown hair, he wears a black jordan shirt, and is pale. Roy is an army man, he has army clothing on, a helmet, and a bandana, he also has long black hair.Jordan is very pale, he is more of a sweatshirt person, he also has long brown hair.Also Randi she has long black hair and a crop top shirt also dark blue jeans. Back to what I was saying.
Blade showed me around, Warehouse 1 and 2, warehouse 2 includes showers, Warehouse 1 includes hammocks. The courtyard which includes just boxes and a garage next to it, which includes 2 cars, and a small cage. Then multiple building that we use for storage, Also a building in the back called, "The Wall" it states all the names of the people we lost.Then a candle lit room, its relaxing in there. I was bought up to the roofs that's were we can relax and take watch.I was then shown that the fences keep this place what it is now. Without the fences this place is gone. They have pikes keeping this place from roamers or "Zombies, or walkers, or geeks" from getting to break the fence. The gate is made of wood, keeping this place safe from people getting in. It is also very hard to climb.
"Hey newbie." Vanessa said, laughing a bit.
"Oh shut it." Elena said, laughing. They were talking to me.
"Oh hey." I said to them, trying to ignore the fact what they said.
"So I see you got a skateboard huh?" Elena pointed to it.
"I want to learn how to." Vanessa said looking at me with a straight face.
"In a bit...Just let me get used to living here."I said walking away.
"Alright Newbie."Vanessa yelled towards me as her and Elena walked the other way to the food court.
I then looked out the fence making contact with the roamer. As it went close and closer to me and then...I just knew, from then on. We aren't alive either. The roamers are humans also, just dead, and basically so are we. We are dead.
