'Wow, those smell great!' Grace exclaimed.
'Yeah. Guess those cooking tutorials online have really started to pay off!' Nick humbly replied.
She tasted them, and loved them!
'For someone who's never cooked before, these are really good!'
'I'm so nailing this! Just hope she doesn't find out I bought these from Stephanie.' Nick thought.
'So, how much did you pay Stephanie for these?'
Stunned silence.
'Come on, I know what Stephanie's cookies taste like, and these taste exactly alike. Come on, spill!'
'Okay I confess! I burned both batches of cookies, my dad had to call the fire department on the 2nd batch, I didn't want to admit that I couldn't follow those way too complicated cooking tutorials, so I chickened out. And I completely understand if you never want to see me again!' Nick blubbered.
Grace laughed.
'What what?'
'You sound so silly when you're busted!'
