Tanner

A bullet whizzed past my head almost killing me. No where to be found, my mom was lost. All I could see was the gorgeous boy. "What's happening?" I screamed. I ducked behind a counter so I wouldn't get hit. "Not sure, but in case you need anything, I'm Tanner." Even his name sounded gorgeous. I scolded myself at the thought for thinking something so ridiculous at a time like this."Ok, I'm Carrie. I can't find my mom so can you help me?" I was worried and my hands were shaking uncontrollably by this time. "Sure, what did she look like?"
"She had sandy brown hair and brown eyes. She was an average weight and she was about 5'8"."
"By any chance is that her?" He gestured over to my mom across the store, lying unconscious or - dead. I ran over to her forgetting the gunshots exploding from inside the store mysteriously just to be by her side. "Mom? Wake up! Don't leave me here! I need you!" No response. "Mom?!" I shook her wildly to escape her from what I hoped was a nap. I checked her all over to see if there was any harm. And there on her side lay a hole caked up in dried blood. "No... This, this is a nightmare and I will wake up right now." I shut my eyes and squeezed them and prayed that I would wake up but I didn't. I opened them hoping I would be in my room. I wasn't. Shut. Open. Shut. Open. Nothing. I cried there as everything around me faded out. The distant sounds of shots and screams all disappeared. Until Tanner shook me up. "Let's go we have to get out before we get shot." He said. He quickly slipped me out the backdoor and we ran for our lives. We took off down the corner and we twisted and turned down alleyways until we couldn't breathe anymore. We were sure there was no one behind us. But now I was stranded somewhere in an alley with a gorgeous buy that of whom I didn't know anything about. Oh no.
