The morning had flown by. It almost didn't feel real. But it was. This was the realest thing they had ever known. After everything it took to get to this point, this was the official start of their very own happily ever after. After all the rushing this morning, now it was just time to wait.

It was the day Taylor Alison Swift was going to marry the love of her life.

Taylor was in the back room of the church. She couldn't stop pacing. She was more excited than nervous, but the nerves were starting to take over.

" What if no one ends up coming? What if I get stood up at the altar? What if something bad happens? Oh my gosh. Where is everyone?! Where are my bridesmaids? Am I even at the right church? Crap.. I need to stop biting my nails."

After a few moments of rambling, Taylor pauses in front of the mirror. "Great. Now I'm sweating. No one wants to marry a sweaty bride. God.. why am I nervous? Probably because you've never felt like this before dummy. Stop worrying about everything." Taylor sighs and lightly smacks her forehead. "Great. Now I'm actually arguing with myself. God I'm a mess"

In all honesty, Taylor had nothing to worry about. This was the happiest she'd ever been in her life. The person that would be waiting for her at the end of the aisle was the part of her she never knew if she would find.

It's strange to think we spend our lives looking for people to complete us. Looking for someone to fill that supposed void and bring meaning to our lives. The irony of it all, is that we're already complete. It's not so much a missing piece of ourselves that we're looking for. It's more so that we're looking for the person that makes us feel even more complete.

Someone to share your life with. Someone to share your accomplishments and achievements with. Someone to be there when the bad days seem like they might never end. Someone that knows what you need before you do because they honestly know you that well.

When you find that person, you find something that you didn't even know you really wanted. Someone who compliments you, challenges you, drives you to be the better version of yourself. They change you. You want to be better for them. For yourself. They truly inspire you. And you can't help but love them.

Even through their faults, weaknesses, eccentricities, annoying habits. It's what makes them who they are. And that's what makes them perfect. The flaws and imperfections that you grow to love anyway make you perfect for each other.

Sure every girl dreams of Prince Charmings and their happily ever after. But it's what comes after that happily ever after that matters. Because real love stories don't have endings.

While Taylor continues pacing and worrying about everything, someone at the other end of the church lets out a sigh and a light chuckle. Karlie knows very well that Taylor is probably pacing and stressing right now. She can practically visualize her face. Head down, brows slightly furrowed, probably biting her nails. It's a look that's very familiar to her. It's one that she has grown to love. "She's probably stuck in her head. Over analyzing everything. I bet she's even arguing with herself. It's so cute when she does that. I wish I could go see her. Just wrap my arms around her and hold her close. Let her know everything is fine."

But Karlie knows how upset Taylor would be if she broke the tradition of not seeing the bride before the ceremony. "Hopefully the bridesmaids will be able to keep her calm and ease her worries. After all, this is going to be one of the happiest days of our lives."

There's no reason to worry.. is there?

(Back in Taylor's Room)

"Ok, seriously. The ceremony is going to start soon and I can't find my parents or my bridesmaids. Maybe I'm going crazy. Is this a dream? Somebody pinch me." Taylor rambles to herself. Suddenly she gets a tight pinch on her elbow. "Ouch! Geez I was joking! It's a figure of speech." "Oh shush you. It didn't hurt that bad." Andrea replied.

"So uh.. anyway..." Taylor nervously clears her throat, "Where is everyone? I was hoping my mom and my supposed friends/bridesmaids would be here to keep me sane." Andrea smiles at her daughter and softly shakes her head, "Sweetie. You'll be fine. Stop stressing. Everything is going fine. They're just checking up on the guests and talking with Karlie."

Taylor lets out a sigh, "Oh. I.. I feel bad. I didn't even think about that! I've been so stuck in my head. So, people came? Like.. they're actually here?" Andrea laughs again.

"Of course people are here Taylor! This is your wedding! Did you really think people weren't going to show?" The red flush in Taylor's cheeks gave her away.

"Sweetie. I'm going to say this to you now. And you better listen. I know how hard it was to get here. I know how much you had to fight for this. There is nothing I want more than to see my little girl happy. You have so much to look forward to Taylor. Don't sweat the small stuff. This is the fun part. I want you to enjoy this day. You're surrounded by people who love you. We all want you to be happy. I know it's scary. But you have someone that wants to share their life with you. You know Karlie loves you Taylor. She absolutely adores you. I can see it in the way she looks at you. And I know you feel the same, because I see the way you look at her. Karlie isn't like the others. She would do absolutely anything for you. I've never seen you as happy as you've been these last few years. And I truly believe it's because of her. Don't be afraid of being happy Taylor."

By this point, both women were crying. Taylor leans forward and hugs her mom tight. "Thank you so much momma. I love you." "I love you too sweetie. Always. Now, let's stop these tears, fix your makeup, and get you ready. You have a wedding to get to." Taylor can't help but let out a small laugh. "Let's do it."

(At The Altar)

Karlie and the bridesmaids converse with the guests as they fill in. The ceremony is going to start soon. Now it's Karlie who is feeling nervous. "Wow. This is a lot of people. This is weird. Why am I nervous now? I'm a model. I pose for people and cameras all the time. Why is this so hard? What if I pass out? What if Taylor passes out? What if she doesn't come out of the back? What if she doesn't want to get married anymore?!?"

Just as Karlie's thoughts begin to go consume her, Austin comes up and bumps her shoulder. "So.. you getting nervous yet?" Karlie lets out a nervous chuckle. "Oh. Not really. I'm just worried about Taylor." "Mmhmm. Of course you are." Austin says slowly, as if hinting to something more. "What is that supposed to mean?" Karlie asks, suddenly getting defensive. Austin looks at Karlie and starts to laugh. "I didn't mean it in a bad way! I meant it like.. literally. You're always worried about Taylor and taking care of her. You always put her first. Even at a time like this, when you have every reason to be as much a mess as she is, you still make it about her."

"Wait, what do you mean she's a mess?!?! I need to see her. I don't care if she gets mad about breaking the dumb tradition. She shouldn't be worried right now. This is supposed to make her happy." Karlie is so lost in her rant that she doesn't realize Austin is bent over laughing hysterically. She moves to rush to the back of the church when Austin comes to his senses. "Karlie. She's ok. My mom's with her. I probably should've worded that better. I'm guessing she's a mess since it's a wedding and girls get emotional and all that. But I mean, she's marrying you, so what could she possibly be worried about?"

Austin shakes his head and looks at Karlie. "You two are perfect for each other. Don't worry so much. This is your wedding too. It wouldn't kill you to at least pretend to be happy."

Karlie smirks at his sarcasm. "Gosh you are so much like your sister." "Eww. I don't want to hear you say awful things like that. Speaking of my sister, it looks like we're about to start. My Dad just went to the back room. Are you ready for this Kloss?" Karlie's signature grin comes out. "I've been ready for this for a long time." Karlie moves towards the altar and readies herself. "I've been waiting my whole life for this."

Karlie's worries had left. All she could think about was seeing Taylor's beautiful face walking her way. She was ready to spend the rest of her life with her best friend. She was ready to make her the happiest girl in the world. Ready to create their own version of happily ever after.
