Me: "morning mom, morning dad~"

I give them a bright smile which they return as Minho also greets them.

Mom: "did you two sleep well? You seem to be in a good mood."

I smile and nod.

Minho: "the hotel is really great, the rooms are so pretty!"

Our parents chuckle at their excited son.

Dad: "is it also alright for you two to sleep in the same bed? If you don't feel comfortable with that, we can look what we can do to-"

Me: "don't worry dad, we really don't mind it. The bed is big enough for both of us, we're completely fine with that"

I cut him off, reassuring him that it's ok while trying not to sound too obvious about actually liking it, they don't need to know that.

Mom: "I'm glad it doesn't disturb you. Anyways, who of you wants to get breakfast?"

Everyone says "me!", so our mother chuckles, her and dad get up and we walk towards the food. There's a big buffet with everything you can imagine, it was so perfect. I got myself a latte to drink, scrambled eggs with bacon and a bowl with cereals, Minho got an iced americano and toast with bacon and cheese on it, mom got the same as me, but she had a yoghurt instead of cereals and dad got a boiled egg, bacon, a toast and a normal coffee to drink. We go back to our table and start eating. I chuckle as I notice that all of us got bacon. The others look at me confusedly.

Minho: "what?"

He chuckles a bit as well.

Me: "nothing, I just noticed that we all got bacon"

I chuckle again and my mother does the same.

Dad: "well, bacon is just delicious"

He speaks out in a proud tone, making us burst out in laughter. We keep on talking while eating until we all finished, so we got up and started walking out of the dining room of the hotel.

Mom: "so, do you wanna do something with us today?"

She asks Minho and me, making me jump around excitedly.

Me: "you are free today?!"

My mother laughs with Minho and my father smiles at me while nodding.

Dad: "yes, do you wanna go to the beach later?"

Minho and me: "YES!!"

Our parents laugh

Mom: "great, then let's meet again in half an hour in front of the hotel."

We agree and each go into our rooms. I jump around in the room because of excitement so Minho gently lifts me up and make me stand normal again. I smile from ear to ear while he helps me put on my bikini before putting on his swimming pants. After we got ready, we go to the spot where mom told us to meet them and saw them already waiting there, waving for us to go to them. We walk to the beach together and I immediately put my things aside and drag my mother to the water.

Mom: "calm down sweetie, we have the whole day to be here"

She chuckles but I continue pulling her until we're in the sea. We swim around a bit and Minho and our father also come to us. We play with a ball, throwing it to each other, for over half an hour, when our parents decide to go out of the water because they think it's too cold. Tss, it's not even that cold. Minho helped me try to convince them to stay, but it didn't work so now we're alone in the water and they are watching us from outside of the water. Since they took the ball out as well, Minho is now chasing me in the water, but I'm faster than him, because he can't swim, so he's walking on the ground while I'm swimming away hehe.

Dad: "sweetie, look to me so I can take a picture!"

He shouts all over the beach and smile in his direction for him to take a picture, when I feel Minho lift me up from behind. He starts laughing at my surprised expression while my father takes a picture. After holding me in his embrace for a few seconds, he throws me into the water. I get my head up again and splash water in his face.

Me: "Yah!"

We laugh our asses off while splashing water at each other, not noticing that our parents are watching us in awe. Sure, they're happy that we get along because we know that I'm adopted, but they don't know that we're not only getting along, but in love with each other. I wonder how they would react if we told them... would they support us? My thoughts get interrupted when Minho suddenly decides to jump on top of me, making the both of us disappear in the water. While we're underwater, he gives me a little peck on my lips. I go up again, gasping for air as he does the same while giggling cutely, being proud if his actions.

Me: "are you insane?"

I laugh, but then get a bit serious. I pull him at his arm, acting like I'm throwing him into the water while whispering something in his ear.

Me: "they could've seen that"

Minho falls into the water, but his head is still in the air.

Minho: "but they didn't, did they?"

He wiggles with his eyebrows and points to our parents who are just laughing at us. I roll with my eyes, he's so silly, but I love him for that. We decide to get out of the water as well. We spend the rest of the day on the beach, talking with our parents and fooling around in the sea and I have to admit, I didn't have such a good day with my family in a long time. I love our parents and they love us, but they are always busy with work, so we don't spend much time with them besides while eating. But that's only one more reason to cherish this perfect day. At 6 pm, we go to a restaurant near the hotel and eat together, but soon after, we all go back to the hotel and sleep. Our parents told us that we're leaving tomorrow 10 am, so we should sleep early today. As soon as we arrive, I put on my pajamas and lay in the bed were my boyfriend is already waiting for me, I give him a peck and cuddle myself on his chest. Soon after, we both fall asleep.
