The morning has comes as the bird starts to chirp and go out of their nest to hunt food. Hana who has woken up much earlier, dressed in her usual daily attire and packed all the order for today. Not to be forgotten about the chocolate chip cookies that was nicely put in a gift box.

"I hope Master Diluc will like my thank you gift, and thank you for helping me make it Miss Jane." she says as she slowly put it in her bag, careful not to flip it over and crushes it.

"It is not a big deal my dear, and I'm sure he will not refused it." and with that said, Miss Jane waved at her as she closes the door to leave. "Please be careful, alright?"

Hana turned around and simply smiled at her, walking down through the path to deliver the baked good to all of the customers just like every other day of her work. 

When she has finished all of that, she quickly went to Angel's Share, standing in front the door; clearly feeling a bit nervous about giving Master Diluc the gift since he is known to be stoic and aloof towards others. He is a man whom many fears and respects.

Hana takes a deep breath before opening the door and went straight to the counter once again to find Mr.Charles. "Hello Mr.Charles, I am here to collect the payment for your order yesterday. I apologize for leaving so soon and very sudden."

Mr.Charles stopped whatever it is that he was doing and take the cash out of his wallet. "Here you go young lady. It's alright, I understand what happened yesterday might have shocked you. It leaves a bad first impression for Angel's Share on you. If you don't mind, is there anything else I could help you with, perhaps a drink?"

"Ah no thank you, I don't drink. And.. Is Master Diluc here in the moment? I would like to talk to him for a bit."

"Yes, yes, Master Diluc is here. I'll call him out for you right away!" He put the glass down and go to the back of the tavern.

In just a few minutes, Diluc comes out and stand on the back of the counter in front of her. "Ah.. you. How may I help you? To clarify, I am not interested in idle chit-chat, unless you have something that needs to get done."

From this very moment, Hana felt a cold sweat run down her forehead. 'Am I overthinking or does he seems quite bothered by my presence. Is he annoyed? Does he not want to meet anybody right now?', she thought to herself as she take out the gift box from her bag and hesitantly put it on the table.

"Greetings Master Diluc, I guess you might have remember me from yesterday's event. I just want to thank you properly by giving you something as return. I hope you will accept it." Hana moved the gift box closer to him as she bowed a little.

"Gift.. for me? Tell me, what is it in this box that you has given me?", he still have his arm crossed against his chest but his expression change into curiousness as to what this lady has to offer him.

She quickly look up to him and gulping one time before she starts speaking, "Um.. It's chocolate chip cookies I baked myself.", She could feels the air around her is heavy and pressuring; will he like it? or does he not like sweets? A whipped of emotion and questions comes running around her head as she stare into those eyes of his.

Diluc goes silent for a moment and open the box himself, "You are.. Miss Jane's worker, are you not? If that's the case, I can guarantee these cookies of yours will taste just as delightful to be eaten with a cup of evening tea." He closes the box again and hold it in his hands. "I appreciate it." he thanked her and start walking to the back of the tavern but before he even leaves the counter, he turn around to take a glance at her.

"Please do me a favor and tell me your name", he command.

"Hana, Hana Ferdinand", she replied.

"Thank you, Hana", He begins to make his way to the back once again.

She feels her heart beating so fast like its going to come out from her chest and run away because of the tense atmosphere. After he leaves, she takes a deep breath and let out a sighs of relief. Then, making a quick walk to get out from the tavern and go back home before it gets dark.

When she arrived at her house, Hana went straight to her room and lay herself down on the bed.

'I am very glad that he likes it. Master Diluc does looks like what people describes him to be like. But.. there is a hint of kindness in him despite the cold tone' she thought for awhile, staring up to the ceiling.

'sighs I better take a shower now and go to sleep rather than question myself about this' as she suggest to herself, she took a quick shower and wear her night attire before going to bed.

"Goodnight, Aster", she talked to her stuff toy that looks like a panther and pet it softly before closing her eyes, drifting away to the realm of dreams.

In the silence of the night, Miss Jane who is making another batch of baked good for her dear customers seems very tired.

"Oh my Celestia.. what do i do with my life. I am getting older day by day.. yet I refused to stop making all of this just so I could give such happiness to the people of Mondstadt through my baking. ah.. the satisfy look on their after receiving all this, does not matter if it is to be given to others or for own pleasure..."

"And for this girl.. whom I loved so much like my very own child. I hope the money she got from the delivery work she has done for me will saved enough to buy her very own adventurer uniform and other items to go adventuring."

"But it's alright if she doesn't have enough"

"I will soon given her all my treasures anyways..."

"very soon.. so you don't have to worry, my little Hana."
