These past few months, over ten cases have happened. The bodies
were all killed in various ways, some unknown . The murderer would kill
their target, burn the body and evidence, and only leave the bones for the
police to find.
The first case was that of Larry Watson. One day, he
left home to go to work except, he never did make it to his building. The
next day, his wife opened the door to a pile of burned and broken bones
waiting for her on her doorstep. It took the police five weeks to put his
skeleton back together. There was about a two week interval
between each case. The murderer would pick a target at random,
with no preference in mind, and leave their bones somewhere the
next day. And each case was in a different city. That was the hard part
about this investigation.
As Aria walked down the street, she thought about the different cases:
one victim was strangled, two were stabbed, three had broken necks,
one was twisted in every part, another had their skull crushed and the
last two methods were unknown. As she arrived at the beach, she saw a
shiny object in the sand but when she got closer, she lost her breath
and felt a tug on her neck. Then, everything went dark.
