His Sister

Tom's P.O.V

I awaited for Sophie. It was our 5th anniversary today.

I was going to confront her.

She arrived and when she saw me I saw the fear and guilt in her eyes.

I put a smile on my face, and walked up to her.

I kissed her quickly. "Welcome home darling." I said. I saw relief on her face.

"Hello dear." She said. I helped her into her seat. "How was your day?" I asked sitting down myself.

"Good. Yours?" She asked. I pursed my lips and nodded. "I got some very interesting news today." I said getting up,and grabbing the bottle of wine.

I poured myself a glass and then pour her one.

I pretended not to notice her hand shake slightly as she reached for the glass. She took a sip.

I sat down agian and just watched her.

"What kind of news?" She asked.

"It's nothing dear.... by the way how's your friend? The sick one?"I asked. When she started to leave alot she said she had a sick friend.

She pailed.

"She's not doing well. I fear for her." She said. "That's a shame. What's her name again? " I asked.

"Adaline." She said.

"Hmm... How's Ben?" I asked taking a sip of my own wine.

She froze.

Got ya.

"I..." "How long did you think it would take me to figure it out?" I asked looking her in the eye.

She broke eye contact.

"I was going to tell you. But..." She trailed off.

"I want a divorce. You will be shamed. And no longer protected. You will not receive a penny from me. I will allow you to pack all of your things. And get out of my home." I said calmly.

I fixed my suit and walked up to her. "My lawyer Wil get with his. Get. Out." I growled the last part in her ear.

She ran out crying.

I huffed and went to my study.

Soon a knock was heard. In came Luke. "Ah my friend did you do it?" I asked. He nodded.

"Yeah." He threw a photo onto my desk. It was obviously printed from a picture online. Probably facebook.

On it was a beautiful girl. Her long dark hair fell in waves. She was smiling.

It was a bit blurry but I could see her well.

"Her name is Adaline Cumberbatch. Addie for short. She is the baby sister of Benedict." He said.

I grinned.

"Let's go say hello to miss Addie."
