chapter 4

Atlas
When i woke up i thought i would feel Aria next to me but all that was left were the sheets.I opened my eyes to make sure that she wasn't here but she really wasn't.
I went downstairs to search for her maybe she was cooking something or watching tv.When i got into the kitchen i saw a note next to a pile of pancakes.
SORRY BUT I HAD TO LEAVE.I MADE SOME PANCAKES FOR YOU TO EAT THEM IN THE MORNING JUST HEAT THEM UP.XOXO ARIA
She was so sweet for making me pancakes so i can eat in the morning but why did she have to leave?Did i do something wrong?Maybe her mom waited for her to come.
I put the pancakes in the microwave and then my dad came in the kitchen.
„Good morning dad.When did you come home?"
„Good morning.I got here around 9 PM.Just in time to meet your friend." Oh fuck.
„Do you mean Aria?"
„Yeah she is nice."
„I think she wanted me to do this so dad i have to tell you something."
„What?"
„Aria is not just a friend.We are dating."
„I knew it.I am so happy for you."He told me then pulled me in for a bro hug.„Take good care of her.I can tell she is special."
„I will dad.She is perfect."Dad looked so proud of me in that moment.„Do you want some pancakes?Aria made them before she left last night."
„She knows how to cook?She is just perfect for you.
"I couldn't agree more.She turned my world in a living dream.I don't know how i could live without her before.
After we ate i went up to my room.When i checked my phone i saw a text from Aria.

ari💞:you up?
atlas😴:yeah thanks for breakfast
ari💞:you are always welcome
ari💞:sorry i had to leave but my mom was waiting for me
atlas😴: don't worry its okay
ari💞:are you better?
atlas😴:yeah thanks for staying with me
ari💞:of course
ari💞:do you want to hang out with me Katie and the boys later today?
atlas😴:yeah just tell me when and where
atlas😴:im gonna pick you up so we can go together
ari💞:okay.can't wait

Aria told me we had to be there at 2PM.She said we were going ice skating so i couldn't wait.I was really good at ice skating so i knew i wasn't going to have any problems.

It was just 11AM so i went for a run since i didn't have what to do.I ran out of habit and because it cleared my mind.I love the feeling of the wind.
Since my mom died i used running as my safe place.Whenever i had a panic attack or anxiety i just went for a run to clear my mind then took a cold shower and everything was fine after but a year ago i started replacing running with drinking smoking and drugs.

I became addicted and had a little episode.I overdosed and combined drugs with alcohol and that didn't go well.I blacked out and was in the hospital for a week or two i can't really remember and then sent to rehab.I was in rehab for a month.My dad got worried so he decided to move so we can have a fresh start since i didn't want to stay in rehab.

Now everything was fine but i knew i was still addicted and if something went wrong i would turn to my old habits.But now i had Aria.I had to get better for her.So that is what i am trying to do.It's hard but i would do anything for her.

I took a cold shower after my run and got ready for going out.After i was ready i texted Aria.

atlas😴:i am gonna be there in fifteen minutes.be ready
ari💞:okay.

When i got to her apartment door i knocked and her mom opened the door.
„Hello Ms Gentry."
„Hi.Come in and please you can call me Violet.Aria is in her room."
„Okay thank you."

I went to her room and knocked on her door.
„Come in." she said with her soft voice.„Hi."
„Hello love.How are you?"
„I am fine.You?"
„Better now that i saw you."Of course that made her blush.„Are you ready?"
„Yeah just a sec."she looked in the mirror one more time and grabbed my arm. „Ready.Let's go." We went into the living room where her mom was.
„Mom we have to go but i will see you in a few days."
„Okay Cami.Wait." Violet grabbed her phone and took a photo of us „Done.You two are so cute togheter."
„Okay.Bye mom.Love you."
„Love you too sweetie.Bye!"
