She opened her eyes to reality.
It was an awakening.
She opened her eyes to reality.
And it's been a while.

She hasn't been this happy.
But I wouldn't say never.
She hasn't been this happy.
And it's been a while.

Life finally turning.
Her hopes high.
Life finally turning.
And it's been a while.

"Maybe he is not the one."

"Maybe he isn't good for me."

"Maybe he doesn't like me."

"Maybe he just.."

"Maybe."

It was a a double sided word.

Positive or Negative.

50/50.

She liked him. Ryan. But maybe he wasn't right for her. He didn't chase after her when she wanted it most. He didn't even try. And that's the thing. You want someone who wants you, who loves you. But you want to love them too. And it's hard cause you can't make someone love you.

"You okay?" Samantha said interrupting her train of thought.

"It's nothing." I replied with a sad tone.

She knows I'm not. But Sammy doesn't press it.

"How's Luke?" I sigh and pick at my food with the fork.

"He's ignoring me one day and then the next day it's nothing. I know we just broke up and it hurts but he can't treat me like I'm not even here." She says slowing her pace.

"Talk to him, at least you have someone who loves you." I mumble and take a bite of my sandwich.

"What." She says curiously raising an eyebrow.

"Talk to him."

"After that what did you say." She questions me even though she knows.

I grab the water bottle and take a gulp.

"You need to get over him he's just there, your being a depressing turtle." She says being the biggest hypocrite in the world.

"You know how long it takes, you should know out of all of us." I say.

"I do." She sighs and her blue eyes stare into my soul.

"Don't do that." I say.

"Do what." She says.

"Stare into my soul and make me feel bad." I reply.

"Whatever." she sarcastically says.

I walk out of lunch and go back to my locker.

Patricia walks around and talk to Ryan.

What a...

"Hey Patricia." I say.

"I'm not talking to you." She snaps back.

Ugh I hate her.

I walk towards the next class and Ryan is right next to me. Jasper comes from behind and scares me.

"JASPER!" I yell laughing.

"What it was funny." She laughs and snorts.

"Well guess you are too much bacon today."

"Shutup." She says and we laugh.

Ryan turns around to see us laugh and I look at him. He turns back around again to notice that I was looking at him.

"Not again." Jasper says.

Ryan seems to do this thing were he will just lol at you. I notice and my face puts a puzzled expression. One day he notices you the next your a bag flying in the wind.

I turn to stare at him.

"What is this you two." Jasper says lost.

"I don't know, you should ask Ryan." I say with a smirk.

"Ryan what is this your just going to stare at beautiful women like a pervert." She says with spice.

He laughs and doesn't look at us.

"I see how it is Ryan. He doesn't like us. Were too amazing for him." I look at Jasper and she gets the hint.

"Yeah he doesn't like us no wonder he's giving us the silent treatment." She says.

The silent treatment, yeah that's what it is.

"You need to bring down from this pedestal you have him on like he's a god and talk to the damn kid." Kassie says.

"I'm going to get his number." I say with a light bulb.

"How's that genius, don't you want him to chase after you?" She says. She has a point.

"Well I don't want to have a whole summer without talking to him." I say.

"Okay girlie, better find a way."
