The Light Helps Touya

Touya's emotions were hot and fierce. His father hadn't come. Why didn't he come? What had Touya done wrong? He thought his dad would come this once and look at him. See that he was good enough and start training him again. That he would leave mom and Shouto alone and focus on Touya. He knew his quirk hurt him, but this negligence hurt worse than his quirk ever did. Shouto was just a toddler, why was he getting trained? He was so young. His hate for his family, the father his light the fire beneath him and left him. Forcing Shouto to stay away from everyone and hurting his mother so badly she could barely function, leaving Touya to take care of everyone. Making sure his siblings were safe and happy even though he didn't know how. All of it was his fathers fault. If he was better, if he had actually been a father, they would be happy, and he wouldn't burn himself and his mother could actually be a mother. When he burst into flames, he couldn't do anything. His hatred and sadness were too much and he didn't know what to do. It was so hot. It hurt so bad.

But he didn't have to expierence this pain for long. Almost as soon as the flames burst out from his body, he was wrapped in a hug. It stopped his fire. It stopped all of his physical pain. It was so cold and soothing.

The light from the person embracing him was so bright he had to close his eyes. The hug shaken him from his thoughts, his intense feelings of hurt and anger he felt. Now, he focused on the light and the coolness and the questions of who this was how they got here and why there were doing this.

After being embraced for a good minute, the person let go. They stepped back and Touya get to see what they looked like. A bright, white, person shaped light with two black holes where their eyes should be. Their moved their jaw downwards, the light where their mouth should be stretched and snapped, revealing black mouth-shaped hole. "You're so powerful! Your fire is so hot and strong! It even turned blue! But it looked like it hurt a lot. So, I have a gift for you so you can use your powers without it hurting so much yourself." They plucked off a chunk of their arm and gave it to Touya. "If you eat this, you'll never get hurt by your own power again! But please be careful, others can still hurt you."

The shock and curiosity Touya had felt was quickly forgotten. This person had something that would stop him burning himself! With this, Endeavor would train him and leave mom and Shouto alone! Mom might even get better and take care of Fuyu and Nastu and Shouto! "Really?!" Said Touya excitedly. If it was true, everything would get so much better! The person's light-skin thing had grown back over their mouth, just as the chunk that had been taken off their arm had filled in, so they just nodded.

Touya ate the bit of light. He chewed and swallowed as fast possible. Then, he tried the move he was going to show his father that night. The fire was blue and it didn't hurt! He thanked the person perfusely. He even hugged them a second time. Touya had tears of happiness streamed down his face. Now everything would be better.

The person simply hugged him back and disappeared in a flash. Touya went back to his house later that night and got his father. He showed him his fire and he showed him that it didn't hurt anymore. "See," he said excitedly, "Now you can train me and Shouto can be with mama and Natsu and Yumi and we can be happy again!"
