"Mr. Carol, Guy's had a family emergency, we were sent here to tell him." I said opening the door to the period we were all supposed to be in at the moment.

"Of course." He said sending Guy out.

"Um what happened? Is my mom oka-"

"Guy your mom's fine. Your family's fine." Julie told him.

"Then why the fuck am I out here?" He asked, looking at the three of us.

"Do you have weed?" I got straight to the point.

"Um-" he looked at Connie for a straight second. "Yeah, yeah I do." He said shuffling his feet.

"Pay up." I said holing my hand out. Connie rolled her eyes, handing me the twenty dollar bill. "Thank you." I smiled. "Also great, can I have some?" I asked him.

"Now?" He questioned. I gave him a look. "You know what I hate this class anyways, let's go." He said leading the way to his dorm.

"Now this hits the spot." I said taking a hit of the blunt. I looked over at Connie, she way laying on the ground, humming. "Connie, you good?" I asked her.

"The clouds are so white and fluffy. And the sky is so blue. Do you wonder if the government puts food dye in the sky?" She giggled.

"Babe noooo! The government doesn't put food dye in the sky, they put real dye in the sky!" Guy said, correcting his girlfriend.

"You know who's like really hot?" Julie asked.

"Who?" I said twiddling with my hair.

"Fulton." She giggled.

"Nooo you got it all wrong, it's Dea-" I stopped myself. Even if I was high, I could still remember. "I'm going inside." I said.

They didn't stop me, probably too high to. I went into the empty classroom that I went into yesterday and sat down. I didn't cry this time though. I just sat there in thought.

I heard the door open as Rick walked in. "So Harley, is skipping class really the best right now. I mean what if your grades slip, how will you be your best at hockey?" He asked me sitting down.

"Skipping class is fun Riley." I whined.

"Your eyes are fucking blood shot.. You're high." He laughed.

"Yeah and what's it to you?" I asked him, smiling a bit.

"Nothin. I just didn't think little miss perfect at hockey would get high in the middle of school."

"I'm not little miss perfect. Have you seen my life recently. It's gone to shit." I laughed.

"Not your life. Hockey, you're a beast on the ice. Everyone's life is fucked up some how. Did you know that my parents are in the middle of a divorce right now?" He asked.

"No, I didn't. Rick tha- that really sucks."

"Yeah well what can you do. Life's a bitch."

"Yeah it is." I chuckled to myself.

"Hey, I know I can be a dick sometimes to your friends, but we're teammates. I treat you and Banks different. Know that. We're friends, I got your back, kay?"

"Yeah, thanks." I smiled at him.

"And girl next time you want to get high. Ask me. I've got all the goods."

"Good, Guy's tasted strange." I chuckled.

"Hey Hars I'm sorry for yesterday." Adam said putting his padding on.

"It's fine Adam. Just you need to back off a bit. I just got out of a relationship."

"I know, I just-"

"Adam. Shut. Up." I said walking out to the rink for practice.

"Damn." Adam whispered, walking out behind me.

I was getting books for next class and shut my locker. Dean was standing there scaring the shit out of me. "What the fuck!" I yelled. I glared at him and started to walk away.

"Harley!" He said running up to me. "Harley please!"

"Please what Dean?" I asked him turning around and looking at him.

He pursed his lips together, "Give me another chance. I didn't want to fucking cheat on you. I was just so paranoid that you were cheating on me and I wanted to get back at you." He explained

"Dean that's so fucking messed up! Do you know how that sounds Dean?"

"Fuck! Yeah I do Har."

"Don't call me that." I said in a stern tone.

He looked down at his shoes, "The point is, I love you! You know how much I love you. Harley please just let me make it up to you!"

"Dean what you did to me hurt me and I can't forgive you. That isn't love Dean. It was a middle school fling. At least to you I guess it was. You cheater." I said walking away.

Felt his arms wrap around me. I gasped, "Dean get off! Dean please!" I said tears welding up in my eyes. "Please let me go." I said barely above a whisper.

He let go looking at me. "I'm so fucking sorry, Harley Ruby. You deserve the world. And I tried to give you that, but I let go too soon. My excuse is bull and I know that. But I'll be waiting for you. If you'll be ready. And if you're not I understand. If you never want to talk to me again I understand." He said to me, walking away after. He stopped, "Also I don't think that us was just a middle school fling. It meant so much to me. Just so you know." He then kept walking.

I took some deep breaths. What the fuck just happened?

Hey another update for yall. I like this chapter and I'm glad I included Dean in this part because at the end of the book Harley will end up with Dean since it is a Dean fanfic ya'know. -cat
