Season 2 Episode 11 - An Old Friend

PREVIOUSLY:
Sarah defended Eric to a disgruntled Connor.
Sean discovered of Kinney's status.
Laura tried to persuade Sarah to go on a night out.
Connor warned Eric.

Sarah is sitting in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee when Billy walks into the kitchen and Sarah looks at Billy. Billy sheepishly asks "Hey Sara can we talk?" Sarah sighs "I'm a bit busy Billy" Billy pleadingly says "Please Sara, I gotta explain" Sarah leans back in her chair and asks "Explain what? How you scarred my Son? You took drugs and got high with my children in the house" Billy nods as he steps forward towards the table "I know what I done was inexcusable, I let you and and Sean and the kids down but I swear to you it will never happen again, I can't stand us not talking. I know I fucked up but I'm truly sorry if I could take it back I would, I just don't want you to hate me" Sarah sadly looks at Billy and says "You're my Best Friend, I could never hate you" Billy's face lights up and Sarah points her finger at Billy and sternly "But you keep those drugs away from my Sons am I clear?" Billy nods with a smile and asks "So, we're okay?" Sarah nods "Yeah of course we are, you messed up and you apologised it's fine. I thought you were off drugs? You were doing so well" Billy sits down at the table and answers "Yeah well but y'know Dad's death just was too hard, I needed a release" Sarah nods and says "Yeah I get that but drugs ain't the answer Bill, you know that" Billy nods "Yeah I know Sara" Sarah curiously looks at Billy and asks "Where did you get the drugs anyway? Nobody would sell to you cause of Sean" Billy shrugs his shoulders and avoids Sarah's eye contact and says "It was an old friend" Sarah stares at Billy as she looks at Billy unconvincingly.

James is sitting in his armchair and is reading the newspaper when Connor walks into the house and he walks into the living room and James warmly smiles at Connor "Ah hello Son, you okay?" Connor sits down on the couch and replies "Hey Gramps, yeah I'm fine" James folds over the newspaper and asks "You sure? You might wanna tell your face that" James knowingly looks at Connor as Connor sighs and James asks "Connor what's wrong?" Connor says "It's Eric, he's pull the wool over Sarah's eyes. I mean as it's Sarah's blind to the real him. I've tried warning her but she won't listen it's as if she can't see it's just frustrating" James nods in agreement and says after a moment "Yeah I know what you mean, Sarah's always been a Daddy's girl and she always will, she worships the ground he walks on. Eric can do no wrong in her eyes, she won't even listen to me. I even went to the prison and warned him but that backfired on me" Connor looks at James intrigued and asks "What happened?" James deeply sighs "Back when Eric was in jail, I went to the jail just to warn him not to hurt your Sister but he threatened me" Connor's face looks taken back in shock and he asks "What?" James nods and replies "I tend to stay outta his way Connor" anger falls upon Connor's face as he clenches his jaw.

Sean is standing in his office as he has his mobile phone connected against his ear and he says as Sarah walks into the office "I don't care, I want him found! It ain't that hard you bring him to me alive or else!" Sean hangs up the call as he turns to look at Sarah and she folds her arms across her chest and asks "Everything okay?" Sean throws down his mobile phone onto his desk and replies "It's Kinney, I thought I killed Kinney and all of his travellers but turns out Kinney's alive" Sarah walks further into his office and asks "How is that possible?" Sean rubs his forehead in frustration and replies "Looks like he escaped, it's just a matter of tracking him down" Sarah sighs "I'm sure you'll find him Baby" Sean nods and replies "I sure hope so Sare" Sean looks at Sarah and asks "You okay?" Sarah smiles "Yeah actually I was wondering if you could look after Jamie and Jake? it's just so I can get a night out with Laura" Sean sighs "Sure Beautiful, that's no problem. When is it?" Sarah replies "Tomorrow night" and Sean nods "That's fine Babe" and Sarah grins "I've got the perfect Husband" and Sean grins smugly "Don't you know it" and they both laugh.

Eric is sitting on his couch drinking from a beer bottle when their is banging on his front door. Eric looks curiously to the door and he stands up and he walks towards his front door and looks through his peephole and he deeply sighs. Eric opens his door and Connor punches Eric across the jaw and Eric stumbles back and he clutches the side of his jaw and asks angrily "What the fuck Connor?!" Connor walks into Eric's house and angrily says "How dare you threaten my Grandfather?!" Eric looks at Connor with bewilderment and asks "Look you've got the wrong end of the stick Connor" Connor says "Nah I ain't Sarah! You can't kid me on! He told me about visiting you in jail and you threatened him!" Connor points his finger at Eric and he angrily says "You go near my Granddad and I will do something I'll regret. James and Sarah is off limits to you! Stay away from my Family! Oh and I'm gonna tell Sarah the truth about what you done, let's see how you wriggle outta this one!" and Connor spits at Eric's feet and glares at his Father. Eric asks "You really think she's gonna believe you?" Connor scoffs in disbelief and replies "I'm her Big Brother, she trusts me with her life and besides my Grandad will tell her too!" and Connor turns around and storms out of the house and Eric sighs deeply and mutters "Fuck".
