As Steven sat there confused looking back and forth at Lapis and Pink "did something happened between you two or something?" Steven asked with a worried tone. Pink turned to look at Steven "not that I'm aware of she just gave me a disgusting look when I answered it" Steven was still confused but just tried to brush it off because he wanted to get back home.
He grabs a hold of pinks hand and asked Lapis if they can help them get out of yellows ship since they couldn't control anything that was happening. Lapis just sighed leaving the small ship she was in trying to find an opening to yellows ship. She found a back entrance and went inside "Steven I found a way out" she yelled out not wanting to go in any further then she already was. Pink heard Lapis and just started walk to where Lapis was calling from holding onto Steven still. Before they got to the door pink put a bubble over Stevens head so he has something to breath in "can I breathe?" pink ask making sure the bubble wasn't blocked any oxygen it was his first time doing that. Steven just nodded just to save air just in case something happened.
Once they got to where Lapis was Lapis just looked down at pink a little bit worried about what she's seeing but just turned around and opened door grabbing a holdbof Stevens hand so she can just fly over to the other ship. Steven was a bit scared and grabbed onto pinks hand tighter without noticing. Pink just gripped onto Stevens hand more hoping it can calm him down since they were almost at the other ship.
As soon as they entered the smaller ship pink removed the bubble and Steven tales a deep breath he didn't realize he also was holding his breath from how scared he was. "Why we're you holding ur breath if u said u could breathe in the bubble" pink asked worried from how badly Steven was breathing in and out "I know I just got scared and held my breath without realizing I'm sorry I scared you" Steven then laid his head on pinks shoulder showing he was tired. Lapis looked worried "is he ok?" she asked sitting next to the both of them "he's fine just I think he's tired" pink said looking down at Steven who quickly fell asleep.
Peridot started to drive the ship towards earth she couldn't say anything because she had to focus but she was worried for Stevens health because she knows Stevens gem is out of his body. His energy source was out of his body so she understand why he's so tired. She let out a sigh so she can go back to focusing on driving the ship back.
Pink was holding Steven tightly not wanting to let go he didn't even want lapis to touch him while he was resting. Everytime lapis tried to touch Steven pink would look at her growling. But as soon as pink growled Steven opened his eyes from all the noise "mmm you both make to much noises" Steven said as he got up and went to sit next to Peridot to fall asleep again. Pink just looked at Steven then looked back at lapis with hardly any emotion in his eyes and let out a low growl. Steven sat up and looked at pink "pink stop growling at lapis and play nice" Steven was clearly cranky so pink just listened and turned away from lapis who just got up and sat on the other side of Peridot. "Y'all are like children" Peridot said chuckling to herself. Lapis turned to her a little offended "I was trying to make sure Steven was ok since he just passes out of no where" peridot then slowed down the ship and turned to lapis "you don't know why Steven is so tired?". Lapis was confused "lapis the pink version of him is his gem basicly his energy source he's tired because of that and since he basicly held his breath on the way to the ship his energy was drained more so he just needs sleep to have a little bit of energy to get through a day and I mean a lot of sleep" peridot said looking at lapis with a blank expresstion. Lapis just looked back at her not knowing what to say but "oh". Lapis turned to look out into space more worried about Steven. Peridot grabbed a blanket and quickly put it on Steven and went back to driving the ship to earth.
They were halfway there because she could see it from where they were. As soon as the ship got closer to earth peridot slowed down the ship so there wasn't a big impact in there landing next to Stevens home.
Peridot tired to wake up Steven softly but Steven was to deep in his sleep. "Lapis can u carry Steven he's in a deep sleep and he's not waking up" peridot asked but pink just appeared next to Steven and picked him up "I'll carry him you two can just explain what happened to the gems" pink said still protective over Steven. They just nodded not wanting to argue and walked off the ship getting ready to tell and show everyone to the gems.
