Katie (케이티) is a singer under Source Music who debuted with the girl group Le Sserafim on May 2nd 2022 with the mini album 'Fearless'. She is the groups Main Vocalist (Sharing the position with Yunjin), Lead Dancer and Lead Rapper. She was born on May 9th 2004.

Katie is a former Girls Planet 999 contestant who ranked 23rd and was infamous for being on the Shoot! Creation Mission team. She represented Source Music on the show by herself and was praised by planet masters for her vocals yet that at the time, her dance was lacking which didn't stop her Signal song rank to change from K28 to K17. She eventually made the top 9 in Episode 5 at rank 7 which made her K02 but after that, she wasn't in the top 9 but was near the position until she was eliminated in the 3rd elimination.

Born and raised mainly in Welshpool, Wales, Katie grew up learning Welsh, English and then Korean from her father and went to primary education along with 2 years in secondary before being accepted into SM Entertainment in 2017 where she remained until 2019 when she transferred to Source Music. She trained under Source and she had a desire to also become a rapper. She was selected for a pre-debut team in 2020 where the group would have a cute concept (which she tried to fit the mild off ) where she would have been a Main Vocalist and Lead Rapper yet most of the members left before debut plans due to internal conflicts which led Katie and fellow trainee Ruka to stay with the company.

When Source offered Katie to be apart of the debut team for Le Sserafim, she was over the moon when she realised who was in the initial lineup. Katie and Ruka were really close as trainees, Chaewon and Sakura were former Iz*One members who Katie enjoyed their music and Yunjin, PD48 contestant who Katie voted consistently to make it to the Iz*One line up yet to no avail. The girls were happy to practise in hope to debut together but when Ruka was removed from the line up, Katie was very upset. She trained with Ruka since forever yet now they were not going to debut together.

All of the girls practised harder to debut and that's when Kazuha, Garam and Eunchae joined the team. Garam and Katie got along well together instantly as she helped the younger learn the ropes for a chance to debut. The two girls got really close and were excited to debut together. Kazuha and Katie were not on talking terms at first as Katie was worried about the language barrier since Kazuha only joined recently but eventually she helped the other girls to teach Kazuha Korean by the day. Eunchae was treated as Katie's child pre debut. She was often seen on Katie's back in public and she even helped Eunchae out with school work.

Katie has been interviewed by multiple magazines like Billboard, Cosmopolitan ect and has claimed on numerous occasions that her celebrity crushes are Stray Kids' Lee Know and Cameron Chapman. She also revealed many things like her current relationship with former member Garam (both are still in good touch), How many languages she could speak and how much producing she does.
