Maria Hill comes forward to light some candles before proceeding.
Natasha waits patiently and smirks, looking at one of her beautiful daughters with her dark hair pulled back elegantly. The embroidered details on Riley's dress almost shimmer as she shifts, hands locked in Garrett's.
"I'm fairly confident there's no one more stubborn than Riley Park Proctor Hill,' Natasha continues, earning a guilty chuckle from Garrett, 'there are also few more intelligent or loyal. Riley's dedicated. And when she focuses on something, she goes after it. She's a leader. I'm not sure where you fit in here."
Garrett shrugs.
"Garrett though. You're charming, I'll give you that. I would pass on that credit to his father but uh,' Natasha shifts her glance onto her nephew, 'I know Clint all too well."
Barton waves his finger in the front row, "Move it along, Romanoff."
"Yeah, that's all you," She smirks and glances back at her notes after Garrett signs a 'thank you'.
"I think what, stands out for me is your determination. Your focus on each other. This sounds sappy coming from the Russian master assassin but, you two have something very special that'll last beyond a lifetime,' her eyes shift toward Bruce, blushing ever so slightly, 'I'd know. With that, our couple would like to invite Laura Barton and Maria Hill to exchange some flowers, symbolizing a ehem, peaceful, please, uniting of your families."
The mothers stand, following Riley's aforementioned request and exchange their flowers.
"With that, it's your turn Riley," Natasha nods.
"That's your cue? I need Garrett's ring, Vi," Riley turns her head over her shoulder, lecturing her maid of honor."
"Oh!" Violet speeds her hand from her pocket.
"I both love and hate how much I adore you, Garrett. Put this on your damn finger and don't ever take it off," Riley offers firmly.
Garrett obeys. Reaching for her hand with a bit more class, "Riley, will you let me put my ring on your finger and never take it off?"
"Yes. One hundred times yes."
"By the power invested in me,' Natasha slips to the side, 'by the state, by Fury, by Riley, I pronounce you Mr. And Mrs. Barton. Riley? Are you going to kiss your man?"
"Get over here! Lower yourself! I can't see," Riley reaches to her tiptoes and giggles as she pecks his mouth.
* * * * * * * * * *
Garrett lifts his hand to give Natasha's a grasp pre-hug, "I really didn't think you'd make it."
Natasha snorts and embraces him, champagne glass in her hold, "I wouldn't miss this."
"You did a...great job. Thank you. It was beautiful."
"I meant every word,' she focuses sternly as they part and her gold bangles clash together in the dimly lit reception ballroom, 'I love you both very much."
"Ooh. She used the 'L' word," Riley sneaks closer, wrapping an arm around her husband's waist after feeling for Garrett's shoulder.
"Look at you two,' Maria sniffles and crowds the circle, 'I can't believe it. Just a couple of annoying stray orphans turned into a beautiful Love Story. I'm getting choked up."
"Ma,' Riley snaps with a huff, 'chill out already. You act like I'm running away forever."
"You could be! You don't need me anymore."
"I do, actually. You've seen my piloting skills. I'm flying blind!"
"Honey?" Garrett nods toward the dance floor at Brody's cue as his best man strums his guitar, "Shall we?"
