New to ATL (Takeoff love story)

a date?

Sydney's POV

i really like takeoff. i mean he's my favorite migo but i'm not letting any man get in the way of me persuing my career. meanwhile i wake up and smell the of breakfast being cooked. i get out takeoff's bed and head downstairs, i spot him making breakfast.

"hey, good morning." i said smiling while walking in the kitchen.

"good morning beautiful, how'd you sleep?" he asked turning around facing me.

"slept ok." i shrugged my shoulders.

i gotta admit i didn't think he was the cooking type. but he sure looked good in a white beater and some basketball shorts.

"so did everyone come back last night?"

"yeah but qua and set had hangover and brought some females home." he told me while continuing to make breakfast.

"why didn't you go with them. you know the migos move together right?" i told him. it was kinda confusing he wanted to stay here with me. he doesn't even know me to be with me alone.

"yeah but i wasn't gonna leave you here by yourself, not in this big ass house. my first day here i was lost like hell." he's such a gentleman i love it.

"so you got any plans for today?" he asked me but sounding like he hoped i didn't.

"nah i don't think so why?" i grabbed a plate from the cabinet and fixed my food.

"well how about you let your favorite migo take you somewhere tonight." i'm sure he did this plenty of times with other females cause he ain't sugar coat anything.

"like a date?" i said taking a mouthful of my pancakes at the island in the kitchen.

"umm yeah...yeah a date. are you okay with that?" i guess he wanted to make sure i was okay with going on a date with him since i just met him. i mean any girl would be lucky.

"yeah. i just gotta buy an outfit and get my nails done that's about it. i can do my own makeup." i've been doing makeup for the past 5 years, ain't no way i'm going out to spend money on something i'm a pro at.

"okay we can go a little later or so...sound good?" he said coming to sit next to me.

"yes" i said smiling. i haven't been on a date i'm forever. it's good to go out again.
