"Now that all the cards are dealt, that everyone has taken note of his character and that the majority is unsatisfied, let's get started" exclaimed the redhead.
"Pff, it sucks, I won't be doing shit throughout the entire game."
"Ah! That means you're a villager !"
"Don't start making assumptions, the game hasn't even started." said the narrator, calling them to order and clapping her hands for silence. "I ask all the villagers to go to sleep."
The game finally started and following Nami's instructions, the village fell asleep without a sound. There were – of course – few idiots who were snoring loudly to add realism, but the redhead calmed them down with a slap behind the head. The latter made sure each player had their eyes closed, ready to reprimand the little ones who would defy the rules and watch from right to left.
"Welcome to the village of Miller's Hollow." she started. "It's good to live here, the people are friendly, the alcohol flows freely, the money grows in the trees and the villagers are happy. But... when you take a closer look, in this supposedly utopian and suspiciously perfect world, there is a shadow in the picture. In reality, the villagers have long been at war with their lifelong enemies: the werewolves. These monsters, half-human half-wolves, had their own way of eliminating the innocent. During the day, they blended in with the villagers and convinced them of their humanity by mixing with the crowd. At night, their true natures were revealed and bloodthirsty, they increased the number of victims considerably by killing ruthlessly. This night again, the villagers went to bed with a lump in their stomachs, fearing their imminent deaths because of the nocturnal assassins. But fortunately, villagers with incredible abilities did everything in their power to unmask and burn the culprits at the stake."
"Such a lovely atmosphere."
"A true fairy tale."
"And we dare say Paradise does not exist?"
"Alright, shut up with your sarcastic comments." Nami growled. "For this first night, I'm now calling Cupido. Who is it ? So that we can have a talk."
The young woman looked around the players, trying to detect the only person normally awake. When her eyes finally fell on Cupido, an evil smile appeared on her lips. She wandered around the circle and spoke randomly from right to left, thus avoiding revealing any clue as to the location of her interlocutor.
"Cupido, this little being with chubby cheeks who spreads love wherever he goes. Okay, they're clearly here to screw things up, let's be honest. Since the role of this little character in diapers is to make two people fall in love, by shooting their arrows poisoned with love. These people, who will become two soul mates, will be instantly driven by an overflowing and irreversible passion, regardless of their roles within the village. Thinking only for themselves, they'll want to finish this game alone, and if one dies, the other will automatically die from heartache. Romance even more tragic than Romeo and Juliet." Nami took a deep breath, trying to replenish her supply of saliva at the same time, and took the next step. "Well, now I'm asking Cupido to nominate the two lovers. Cupido, I leave it to your judgment."
