Fourteen years later...
"Acher!" Amanda smiled widely as she ran to her closest friend.
"Good morning," Acheron replied in the same flat voice. Oh, how Amanda loved his unique voice.
"Can you believe it?" Amanda beamed. "We've been in high school for almost a week now!"
"It appears to be it."
"Aww - come on!" Amanda nudged her friend. "Can't you be at least a little more excited?"
"I'm excited. You just don't see it."
You might be wondering, why didn't he ask the meaning of 'excited'. Well, during his fourteen years with the girl, he learned many words that we would think are common. Words such as 'pain', 'happiness', 'fear', 'sadness', and 'anger'.
"Then how do I know you're excited?"
"You don't."
Amanda laughed. "I've always wondered where you get your sense of humor from!"
"From my relatives."
"Wow," Amanda rolled her eyes sarcastically. "Who would've known."
"Anyways," Amanda suddenly remembered what they were doing. "What class do you have?"
"Math," Acheron replied, looking at his schedule. "Well, see you during the break!" He waved goodbye before leaving.

"Good morning class!"
"Morning!" the class replied.
"Does anyone remember what we talked about last class?" the history teacher asked.
The nerd in the class raised his hands and answered, "What started The Revolution."
"Great job!" the teacher smiled warmly. "Yes, that's exactly what we've been learning."
"Nerd," Amanda muttered.
"It started around five hundred years ago," the teacher began, "and ended three hundred years later along with a lot of destruction and death."
"That's a long time," someone whispered.
"Indeed it is!" the teacher, who heard what the student said, agreed.
"Creepy," Amanda shivered. She never understood how teachers can do that.
"Five hundred years ago, a group of power-hungry people decided to take control of the world. They wanted to make the governments pay and feel their pain. Their first encounter was beside a lake in a forest. An important passenger was interrupted and when the government looked for him, they found his dead body and his guards on the ground with some in the lake."
"What did the passenger carry?" the nerd raised his hands.
"He carried the message about The Revolution."
"Why not send it using his phone?" another kid asked.
"That's a great question," the teacher thought for a moment. "I do not know."
"What?" the class was in an uproar.
"You're the history teacher!"
"How?"
"Enough!" the teacher shouted. "It's not stated why he didn't use a phone. We can only assume that it's part of the Lost Archives."
