Unnamed Guest (season 5)

River walked into his shared home with his wife Sam "Hello Hun." He said barley shouting but he got no response from Sam then he walked over to the couch and sat on the couch not even taking the time to take off his business suit. "River dearest come here... We need to talk." Sam said from the kitchen sounding shaky "One moment Hun." River sighed while standing up and walking to the kitchen to see his wife. He reached his arms out to hug her and said, "Hello Hun I missed you." Sam pushed him back "Don't try and hug me." She demanded River's eyes widened "What-What are you talking about." River shouted Sam looked up at River and held his wrist "I'm Talking about Allie." She said tears building up in her eyes River's widened eyes became a stare of confusion and anger and he shouted, "WHO THE FUCK IS ALLIE!!" Sam's eyes filled with tears and fear "I-I... I went through your phone, and I saw you texting some girl named Allie about secret plans." She said shaking just thinking about what would happen if River got mad enough. River took a deep breath and sighed "You know what Hun we are getting a divorce and you can keep the house just let me have half the savings." Sam looked down at his wrist in her hands his hands were clenched into fist "Also I'm not River anymore I'm Mr. Daring." He added Sam looked back up at River and said, "Yes that's a great idea go pack your bags." she tried not to cry as she watched River's eyes fill with tears as he walked over to their shared room to get his bags. River packed his bag then sat on his bed looking at his first name on the suitcase 'Stay strong and remember what father said real men don't cry.' he thought to himself then he got angry just thinking about his name that his mother gave him and grabbed a marker off his nightstand and scribbled out his name. He left the shared bedroom and walked to the front door "Goodbye d- I mean Mr. Darling." Sam said while wiping tears from her eyes River opened the door and mumbled under his breath "Goodbye Sam... I love you." He walked out of the house and shut the door behind him. He left the shared bedroom and walked to the front door "Goodbye d- I mean Mr. Darling." He stood at the end of his doorstep and thought about where he could go 'I can't go to my parents, and I don't have any sib-' his thoughts

got cut off by a man running into him the man looked up at River with fear and stated "I'm sorry sir I-I didn't mean..." The man stopped talking as River reached and nudged the man backwards and said, "Just go I don't need to hear your story." Then the man continued to run down the sidewalk. River looked straight ahead and saw The Hotel Cortez 'Yes that's where I will stay... Well maybe just for a while.' He thought. River took a deep breath and sighed "Well, now I have a place to stay." He watched as the streetlight changed to red and he ran through a huge crowd to get to The Cortez. Once River got in front of the hotel he sighed in relief, and he walked into The Cortez, and he was mesmerized by the glamorous inside of the hotel "Hello sir can I help you?" A voice asked from the reception desk that snapped River back into reality and he started to walk over to the reception desk. River looked at the man standing behind the desk then the  man asked, "Sir do you have a reservation?" River rubbed the back of his neck and sighed "No, sorry I don't have a reservation." the man looked at River with a small smile and said, "It's fine sir I just need your name so I can get you a room." River looked down at the scribbled-out name on his bag then looked back up at the man and sighed "Mr. Darling, that's my name. Can you please just get me a room?" the man looked at River with a confused face then River groaned "Mr. Darling, that's my name." The man still looked confused and said, "Sir I need your first name." River looked at the man with anger in his eyes and slammed his hand on the desk. The man jumped back a little. River took a deep breath and sighed "I'm so sorry for my outbreak I really just need you to get me a room." the man nodded and looked down at the room book. He looked back up and said, "You can stay in room 63 does that sound good?" River rubbed his face and nodded. River grabbed his bag and went over to the stairs and started to walk up them. Once he got to his room he shut the door and pushed his suitcase to the floor and then sat in front of the door with tears building up in his eyes as he tried not to cry.
