I leaned on my chair while adding the final few sentences to my journal that i've grown to enjoy writing about during my time in Sumeru, the illustrations we're hand drawn by me and i'm pretty proud of how the pictures came out to look quite popping to the eye that captured images of my weapon that i used daily for gathering information, and i even added some live orchid leaves and used them as decoration for this masterpiece that i created.
I dropped my ink pen on the wooden table that had many unorganised papers laying about on the table i used as a desk, this was supposed to be my day off for the amount of work i consumed back in the Land of Contracts, but i'm treating this as more work to complete since it's pretty boring NOT doing anything, specially since there's no issues to be done in Liyue.
I saw a bright like appear from my window, only to realise i've possibly commited another all-nighter from writing this book about my adventures, the light was already irritating me from how bright it is, how was i supposed to sleep after finishing this if the light was gonna shine into my eyes ?
" *sighs. * This blinding sunlight is such a pain... No way I can get a nap in this weather. " I said trying to close the curtains to block the sunlight, only for more bright glowing to come from another area. I turned around to see where that odd glow was coming from.
It was faint.
The colour of the strange light was a green colour that was coming from the corner of another room.
I got up from my chair and put on my white fur coat and walked towards the scene, leaving my almost finished book on the table i used as a desk, and walked to the other room to investigate the glow. Though it was faint, it was clear enough for me to see it thankfully and it made it easier for me to identify the object, it seems to be a lonesome mirror that rested in the bathroom of this very building that my boss was paying for and it had unidentified markings on it.
I touched the mirror out of curiosity, only for black goo to harshly grab my arm and drag me into the mirror, i used my free hand to release some of my handy elemental strings to grab onto the bathtub. I tried to pull myself out of the black goo with my one arm but of course it was no use for the goo was already claiming most of my body, while pulling me harshly over the sink and into the mirror.
