Karlie's POV:

Why would she say things like that?

Karlie is sitting in a cab on her way to her old place. Her place. Her eyes are red and there are tears rolling down her cheeks.

I thought she loved me. Why would she say that then. Its so mean.

Shes silently sobbing, not wanting the taxi driver to see that she's crying. She doesn't want to be on some cover story which says: Karlie crying in taxi, did she and Taylor break up?

Did we?

Did we just break up?

"Shit." She silently mumbles. I don't want to break up. I love her. But she was so mean and I'm also angry. God I'm angry. She clenches her hands together so they're fists.

A voice breaks through the silence in the car. "Ma'am, were there." She hands over the money she owes the driver and gets out of the vehicle. "Can you wait here? Ill pay extra." The driver nods and Karlie closes the door. She presses the 'record audio' button on her phone, just in case something important is being said or done. It was a tip Taylor had given her back in Florida.

There it is, her house. The garden looks horrible. Karlie was always good at taking care of all the plants and flowers but Josh surely doesn't seem to care at all about that.

God what is Josh gonna say when he sees me like this? She slides her phone out of her pocket to see how damaged the make up on her face is but before she has the time to adjust anything the front door of the house swings open.

"Karlie!" The man in the door opening happily says, a grin on his face like always. Karlie walks over to the front door and greets the man. "Hi Josh." She says, she tries to smile but fails miserably. "Wow Karlie, sorry to say it but you look horrible." Josh says. "Did something happen between you and.. Taylor?" The way he asks the question is almost happy. Of course he is happy when he hears me and Taylor are fighting.

"Im fine Josh, me and Taylor are good." She lies, faking her smile again.

"Oh okay, come on in." Josh says, letting Karlie pass him. Karlie walks into the livingroom and hangs her jacket over the couch to let Josh know shes not leaving in 5 minutes again but actually sitting down and talking. At least, thats the plan.

"So how was your time in Florida?" Josh asks, his tone surprisingly sincere.

"It was really nice actually, was perfect for like a short break." Karlie says, trying to smile at Josh who is sitting down on the couch.

"A break from what?" Josh quickly asks, as if hoping Karlie would say 'you'. Karlie notices the hope in his eyes directly and just says: "Oh just a break from our work you know, Taylor is always busy writing songs and going to meetings and such so we just needed a little break from that." Karlie says. Talking about the singer is hard for her, she notices her eyes becoming watery again.

"Oh okay, glad you had a good time Karlie. Want something to drink?" Josh asks nicely.

"A glass of water would be nice." She says as he runs off to the kitchen to get some water for her. Wow, he is being so nice. Almost like the old days. Weird.

"Here you go." Josh says while putting the water down on the coffee table standing next to the couch. "Thanks." Karlie says. "So Josh.." She continues. "Im actually here to talk with you about some things."

"I know. So what do you feel like talking about?" He asks politely.

"Actually. I wonder why you're so bothered by the idea of me being with Taylor." Karlie says calmly, immediately noticing Josh's face become more tensed.
