"I was trying to get finished, why you rushing me?" his new york accent coming out heavy, his dad slapping him upside his head.
"don't talk to me like that ri, ill still whoop your ass, alright?" the young boy shrugged, walking out the open door into the black mercedes sitting on the curb.
the car was heated, it being 30 degrees outside that day, so when they got they would instantly be flooded with heat.
his dad sat down, making sure his mirrors were correct, pulling out the spot and driving straight ahead to the airport.

meanwhile, taroya stepped off the plane, wheeling her luggage behind her, thinking about how her family would react to seeing her after so long.
