When Leo woke up, Calypso and some other dude with good hair was sitting next to him on the ground. "What in the name of Hades is going on?" Leo asked groggily. "Welcome to the Glade. You broke your ankle, dude. Leo, you need to take it easy. You were actin' like a big klutz back there, and fell into a crate of glass canning jars," the guy with the awesome hair said. Leo finally remembered who the guy was. He was percy's stepdad, Paul Blofis! How did he end up here, and how does he remember all of his friends, and their families, but not his own? Leo's train of thought was shattered when Paul yelled Percy's name. It was more of a I-need-to-give-you-your-ten-bucks-I-owe-you yell, rather than a get-your-butt-in-here yell.
It took Percy about a minute to get over there. When he was settled next to Paul, Percy took out a piece of paper, and read it out loud. It said;
The next generation shall fall,
While the chosen one rules all.
To escape your greatest fears,
You must go out the rear.
After the chosen one reaps,
All acomplishments enter the deep.
After he finished, Leo noticed his jaw was wide open. He lifted up his hand, and a sharp pain run through his gut. Leo pulled up his shirt, and there was a huge scratch across his chest. He screamed. "Calm down, man. we all have them," Percy said. "You have one too?" Leo said with tears in his eyes. "Yeah. It kind of ruins my six pack though," Percy replied. Leo laughed. Even though it hurt, it was worth it. Percy was his best friend, no matter how much they denied it. Percy would even be his best man at his wedding (If they survived that long, being demigods, and all)!
Then, out of the blue, Sally Jackson appeared. The appearance was followed by a bunch of hugs, and a few kisses on the cheek, but it made Leo happy that Percy was with his mom. Suddenly, a picture flashed before is eyes. After it cleared, the memories came flooding back. He knew who his mother was, his father, and everything about his childhood. Suddenly, there was a blood-curdling scream. Leo knew that scream anywhere. It was Piper.
